Sasha Carassi is back on his Phobiq imprint with the "Fiberboard" EP!

With synths sounding like liquid tension, the original mix is a journey through tough beats and
frantic electronics.
The mighty Slam are in charge of the first remix and they take the dark and dirty route, stripping the original
down and adding some bleakness of their own, only to surprise us with an old school-sounding breakdown.
The Acid mix is slightly more rolling, featuring snappy drums and pulsating percussion, which takes us to the fourth
track of the EP; closing up is Tom Laws, who has been making his own unmistakable noise as of late. Utilizing simple,
yet solid drums he offers us a clearer picture of the tense synths while maintaining the vibe of the original.

Voight Recordings is a young vinyl and digital label based out of Berlin. Currently onto their third release, prior EPs have seen LHS, GoldFFinch, LPZ and DJ Sodeyama chip in with contributions.

Flash, Planet Rhythm, ARTS, are just some of the great imprints Vinz Exe has appeared on. His latest Caladan EP also features the dreamy and deep sounds of Dutchman Albert van Abbe for good measure.

The DT:Premiere we selected is the final track “Giedi Prime” that is a wonderful mix of deep atmospherics and a chunky club rhythm. Light and airy, the long organic breakdown feels rather lush, before the jackin’ spaced out groove switches it up again and keeps it moving.

rus'me gets the remix treatment from Answer Code Request, Ben Sims & Pangaea. This is the first of two EPs featuring remixes of tracks from the Trus'me Planet 4 album. Answer Code Request takes Our Future into new territory with two outstanding mixes. Remix 1 moves things to a much more sinister & foreboding place. Tightening the feel & tension of the original with all the hallmarks of classic Berlin techno. Remix 2 winds up & coils the track into a searing workout of early 90's hardcore breakbeat. Ben Sims takes control of Ring Round Heart, pushing the tempo & creating a whole new urgency in the track. This is proper no nonsense heads down business & tight as you like. The mix builds excellently well & manages to produce an epic amount of feel and emotion, dropping in & out of the groove with a sneaky breakbeat & vocal dubs. Pangaea tackles one of the albums more esoteric tracks in The Unexplained. He manages to work a wonderfully intriguing steppers beat which drops from nowhere after the highly beguiling metronomic extended opening. The tracks are getting plenty of play & plaudits from likes of Ben UFO, DJ Deep, Bicep & Anthony Parasole.

Techno titan Adam Beyer has grown Drumcode into a force to be reckoned with; the label has become synonymous with forward-thinking, functional techno and even after 20 years, Drumcode continues to find new boundaries to push, and ways to solidify its legacy as the world’s number one techno label. 

2017 is no exception, with Beyer’s imprint hosting it’s first stage at Tomorrowland, not to mention the expansion of the critically acclaimed Junction 2 where the Drumcode stage is the centrepiece and Adam plays the key role of festival director. The Drumcode phenomenon continues to grow each week, chiefly fuelled by Drumcode Radio, Adam’s radio show that’s broadcast in 57 countries via 86 stations and to a global audience of 16 million techno fans per week. 

The A-Sides series acts as a perfect vignette of Drumcode’s cutting-edge sound; functional yet inspired techno, all tracks tried and tested by Beyer himself. Vol. 6 continues this tradition with a collection of 16 multi-faceted cuts from a mixture of both emerging artists and experienced label friends. 

The heart-throbbing bass in Amelie Lens’ electrifying piece ‘In Silence’ sets the tone for the dark and dance-floor-ready energy that Vol.6 carries the whole way through. Other standouts include Mars Bill’s rough’n’ready ‘Mohave’. Pulsating and precise, ‘Mohave’ has highlighted many of Beyer’s sets recently as has Wehbba’s monster track ‘Fake’, which fans have been anticipating the release of all year. 

Label-favourites Dense & Pika also feature on ‘A-Sides’ Vol. 6 with their hard-hitting ‘Just a Beat’ and a huge track from Beyer himself who has joined forces with Enrico Sangiuliano to bring us their undeniably infectious ‘Preset Heaven’. 

With many more notable selections from the likes of Julian Jewell, Timmo, Tiger Stripes and Pig&Dan, A-Sides Vol. 6 is another impressive addition to the label’s prolific release roster and a testament to why Drumcode remains at the forefront of the electronic world.

Rebekah has been consistently prolific, going in hard when she played for our stage at AVA Festival to the delight of all the LUMEN gremlins.

For our first original track in the rave tapes series Rebekah keeps the tone consistent, going in hard with a proper hefty kick drum and continuing the pace with ravey hoovers. Seriously banging.

After beginning life as an experimental side-project for members Paul Maddox and Rich Wakley, Spektre find themselves over a decade later as established and respected features of the Techno landscape.  As a production outfit, they have recently released on such imprints as Elevate, Phobiq and Unrilis, as well as their own Respekt Recordings (now approaching it’s 150th release) to the acclaim of their peers, with the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick among their plaudits.
