Spektre (Drumcode / Respekt), one of Britain's hottest techno duos, attacks the techno World with an unprecedented single! 'Without Warning' is Spektre's case study on today's Techno. Uncommon, speedy, dark and above all, trippy, it is a track that rewrites the rules on how a proper track should be. Melancholic and dark, but precise and crisp at the same time -a typical Spektre characterstic- 'Without Warning' is composed upon the concept of making a difference. Huge bass pads bring out melodies that move and travel the audience while on the same time spacey strings and groovy drum patterns generate the antithesis that makes the energy circulate in this excellent track's veins. Thomas Schumacher's (Drumcode / Noir) approach is manifested upon pure energy. Advanced engineering and authentic inspiration meet, to create a perfectly blended dark-as-the-gates-of-the-underworld killer groove and fresh rhythmical elements, all mixed along to forge a track destined to stir bedrocks and definitely question their structural rigidity! D-Deck (Alleanza / Phobiq) inserts his life experience in music-making into his remix and totally transforms the track, generating a new existence. This is a 4 AM track, definitely made to move large crowds. Rigorous and stern, yet driving and melodic, it's based on a solid drum pattern that concludes to an epic buildup where all melodic elements join the harmony and add their own perspective to end-up in a huge drop. Spektre, Thomas Schumacher and D-Deck are debuting in VOLTAGE Records.

Radial - Shinoba

Harvey McKay starts his next single using a killer vocal hook and heavy-duty synth stabs to full effect, conjuring up more of Harvey’s unique style with ‘Silk Road’. The second track ‘Slip’ uses ghostly pads that float over the top of a crisp, chuggy kick drum combining two different qualities before welcoming the percussive synth blips into the mix. The third and final track ‘Start Running’ is chuggy and uses a mesmerising bass loop to draw a dancefloor in. The vocal stabs sit nicely on top before the lead vocal gives the track character and definition.

Next up on the gold standard tech house imprint that is Roush, comes label boss himself, Hector Couto. On the Parental Advisory EP, the influential Spaniard has readied four cuts of to-the-point club music that cannot fail to make its mark. 

Hector is one of the most respected artists around with a truly global allure for his brand of house music. He has released on labels such as Defected, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations and Get Physical and is no stranger to the finest DJ booths in the world, from Ministry of Sound to Amnesia Ibiza. As such any new music from him warrants deserved excitement. 

Proving that once more is excellent opener 'Like This,' a wobbly tech house tune that is full of electronic funk. It has great vocals, swollen bass and siren like synths that really get under your skin and demand you dance. Title track 'Parental Advisory' is a real party starter with wild vocals and jittery drums. Off kilter synth stabs and fat bass all make it a hugely fun and characterful tune that is sure to stand out in any set. 

Moving on to the essential 'Old Roots', this one comes laden with retro breakbeats and a dusty sense of groove. Air horns and crisp hi hats all get stitched into the loopy groove and pull you deeper and deeper in with each rotation. Lastly, 'Bubble Gum' comes with a snaking bassline that is tough and rugged. Classic 909 pops and clicks pepper the groove, as do plenty of sweet vocal samples and the result is one hell of a tech tune that sounds like little else. 

This is another masterclass in effective, emotive dance music and marks another fine release for both label and artist. The vinyl elease will be accompanied by a digital version featuring an exclusive remix from Santé.

Pablo Inzunza, is a young Chilean DJ & Producer, and is owner of the two Chilean labels Tempura Records and Aires Music. He has released music on 8 BIT, Deeperfect, Go Deeva and Monique Speciale, and has gained DJ support from Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Richie Hawtin,Marco Carola, Steve Lawler and Laurent Garnier.

Blinded is a dubby techno gem, plenty of pace and energy, as its percussion paves the way for some solid dance floor action. Bleeps and tones add depth as we subtly build as this gem swaggers along with an air of a a timeless feel about it.

Swedish techno fave Par Hammar delivers not one, but two remixes. Having released music on such esteemed labels as AVOTRE and Danse Club, he was the ideal remixer for this release. Lets start with his Wednesday Dubb Remix. Rollin beats, and utilising the dubbiness from the original, this tasty touch up oozes of class, and is an intelligent rework for the cooler dance floors.

Par Hammars Saturday Dubb Remix is a punchier workout, taking the energy levels up, boosting the bassline and creating lots of space for the track to develop in your own mind. Dubbiness with attitude. 

The second Original from Pablo is Drumatic. This is a tougher and druggier gem, moody and layered with lots of low end and a subtle acid line that sounds along with this deep techno banger. 

And rounding things off nicely on this package, is Clio, who's productions for Drumcode, Truesoul, Electric Ballroom and Snatch! have been thrusting this Berlin based producer to the top of his game. Retaining the moodiness of the original, but altering the vibe with solid beats and drawn out effects that create tension and adds a shoulder swaying jackin' edge to proceedings.

The title track with its violent kick and rough bass receives not one, but two remixes from UK techno pioneer Ben Sims. Two different interpretations in his Spacey and Jackin’ remixes that both deliver intense grooves, spacey synths and thumping beats.
Diego’s ‘Euphausia’ with its strong 909 groove and hypnotic flavour is reworked by Figure, Clergy artist and SK_eleven boss Setaoc Mass, who delivers a stripped, but imposing offering that will ignite any dancefloor.

DJ Pierre delivers the second installment of his acclaimed 'Acid 88' compilation series by serving up a quality collection of acid bangers, including Bloody Mary's piercing and squelching peak-time cut 'Love Is Acid'.

With warping 303 riffs Bloody Mary showcases the essence of rave with her hypnotic acid track. The French-born, Berlin-based artist has been carving out her place in the underground for the past decade with releases on various labels, but it's her Dame-Music imprint that's helped her garner a cult-like following. Now her latest offering on Afro Acid will further showcase her unique approach to electronic music.

After beginning life as an experimental side-project for members Paul Maddox and Rich Wakley, Spektre find themselves over a decade later as established and respected features of the Techno landscape.  As a production outfit, they have recently released on such imprints as Elevate, Phobiq and Unrilis, as well as their own Respekt Recordings (now approaching it’s 150th release) to the acclaim of their peers, with the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick among their plaudits. As their near-permanent presence in the Techno download charts confirms, the quality and consistency of Spektre’s studio output is a given.  As performers, Spektre’s unique sound has taken them to some of the biggest and most highly regarded venues worldwide, with frequent bookings by the likes of Space Ibiza, Exit Festival, Pacha Buenos Aires and Burning Man.
