C'est le Lundi En Musique! My incredibly amazing and excellent French aside, today's remix is the "Peppermint Palace" theme from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. KatAM is definitely one of my favorite games on the GBA (along with Pokemon Emerald, Metroid Fusion, and Mother "THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER YOU GUYS OMIGOSH" 3), so I definitely wanted to pay tribute to a track from the game.

This remix ended up being a lot of fun to do and it's definitely fun to listen to. I didn't add TOO much to this remix: just a synth pedal tone (which is barely audible), an accompaniment to the main melody, and a little tweaking at the end of the loop. And for once, I didn't completely redo the drumline for this track. The original was actually pretty close to how I would've written it in the end.

I haven't made a song in a while, so I decided to make one! This one is pretty fast paced, and has a bit of a running-away-hiding-from-the-eyes-of-the-bad-guy-feel. It's actually the first song I've made since my harddrive crashed, so it's a bit differently mixed than my other recent songs.
