I’m a newly upcoming artist out of Clemson. Originally from Greenville with a passion in music since I was a kid. I make different kinds of music and each one of my songs is very different from the other. I make country and alternative music. I make my own beats and record my own audio so far only on my phone. I’m a college student so it’s kind of hard financially to get the right equipment. Once I save up, it’s over ;) Hope I can follow my dreams one day as well as collect a fan base!

Exploring themes that are equally profound as they are cheesy, Kovastellar is carving out a niche for himself in the electro-pop scene. He revels in thematic story-telling within his music, feeding bite-sized narratives about the mysterious astronaut character featured in his artworks and animations through flying acoustic guitar harmonies and airtight basslines. 

Based out of South Carolina, Robert Rollins launched the Kovastellar project in 2020, debuting with his laid-back lofi song "Uranus" via @foshwave's "Foshdown: Sampler" compilation. Since then, he has remained one of Foshwave's powerhouses, delivering a steady stream of singles and eventually his debut album in June of 2021, titled Solar Sounds. Each song explores a different planet in our solar system, complimented with catchy synth melodies and arpeggios, poppy vocals, and an overall cheery atmosphere. Solar Sounds effortlessly travels between various genres and tones, from the clubby house beats of "Earth" to the warm harmonies delivered via guitar and wishful female vocals on "Pluto". 

Rollins continues to expand the Kovastellar project into 2023 with many more singles on the way, never afraid to showcase a more vulnerable side of himself through his heartfelt melodies and songwriting, as 2022's Eclipse EP demonstrated. Frontlining the release was the fiery and energetic "Solar" featuring addictive vocals from the very talented KNZEE, and a somber poetic companion piece, “Lunar”, sung by Rollins himself.
