In the second episode of elysium solidity, sensi.ble and Dino talk about the aesthetics of the Spomeniks, which are monuments established by the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1945 on up until the 1970s. With critical distance, Dino and sensi.ble discuss the monuments’ visual and historical characteristics and interpret their futuristic and abstract apperance through of sound and music. Discovering the Cosquer cave thanks to Diaty Diallo, re-watching Michelangelo Frammartino's incredible film Il Buco and the funny fact that stalagmites were created in Schuman station — these are many coincidences that led me to this beautiful theme, the caves.

I originally made this mix for HÖR on October 6th in Berlin. I decided to take it down from the platform. The radiostation has been neglecting in responding to the abuse with which employees at the station met DJs, who stand up against violence against Palestinians and who powerfully express themselves by wearing slogans that support the right to self-determination of the occupied people. Asking DJs to interrupt their set for these reasons is unacceptable, as it undermines freedom of expression and resistance to apartheid. After multiple attempts to get a response to- and clarifications about the radio's position, I asked the organisation to take down my set.

I decided to post the set here, because the music featured is close to my heart. This mix contains beautiful tracks by people who push me forward, make life tangible, meaningful, and enjoyable.

Let's say no to radio silence. Let's push forward demands for Palestinian liberation.
