The 7th edition of Seanaps Festival took place from 21 - 24 September 2023 in Leipzig. Under the umbrella theme of “Composing Future”, the festival highlighted transdisciplinary approaches in experimental music, art, and culture by offering an evolving forum of concerts, installations, interventions, film screenings, workshops, listening sessions, a label market, club night, talks, and DJ sets.
With a temporary radio station in Westwerk, Seanaps Radio accompanied the festival events, invited participating artists for conversations, and presented independent radio works and performances by local artists and musicians. Seanaps Radio was broadcast in cooperation with Sphere Radio, and temporarily also broadcast on FM on Radio Blau 99.2 in Leipzig and Radio Corax 95.9 in Halle (Saale).

Seanaps Radio lädt zum musikalischen Komponentenessen mit modularen Syntheziser-Sounds.

Gregor Pfeffer ist Klangkünstler, Musiker und Komponist und lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig. Er arbeitet mit Sound und abstrakter elektronischer Musik in Installationen, Performances und Kontexten von Musik, Kunst, Film und Radio. Er hat einen Masterabschluss in Sound Studies an der UdK Berlin.

Die Komponisten Martin Recker und Paul Hauptmeier arbeiten als Künstlerduo im Bereich der Klang- und Multimediakunst zusammen und sind Mitbegründer des ZiMMT - Zentrum für immersive Medienkunst, Musik und Technologie in Leipzig. Auf dem Seanaps Festival präsentieren sie ihre Klangskulptur Decay 2022 - 22424, die sich mit radioaktiven Zerfallsprozessen in extremen Zeiträumen befasst.

Das Radio verlässt das Studio, begibt sich an die Orte des Festivalgeschehens und kommt mit Künstler:innen und Gästen ins Gespräch.

Miki Yui ist eine Künstlerin und Komponistin aus Tokio mit Wohnsitz in Düsseldorf, Deutschland. Auf dem Seanaps Festival ist ihre vierkanalige Klanginstallation "Plant Music, 2022" zu hören, die inspiriert ist von einer Bleistiftzeichnung von Joseph Beuys Bleistiftzeichnung mit dem Titel "Pflanze" (1947).

Seanaps Radio lädt zum musikalischen Komponentenessen mit modularen Syntheziser-Sounds.

Jörg Brinkmann ist Performance-, Video- und Installationskünstler. In seiner Liveperformance lotet er die Möglichkeiten von Field Recordings, gefundenen Soundschnipseln und algorithmischer Programmierung in Max/MSP aus. Daraus entstehen chaotische patterns, stolpernde Rhythmen, Drones und Noise.

Leon Goltermann just finished his M.f.A. in media arts/electroacoustic composition (at SeaM Weimar)/experimental radio at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. He plays, works and composes with music, radio play, installations and text. Currently often with a focus on language expansion, sound sculptures and the relationship between art and the culture industry. 

Goltermann is member of the Rundfunkorchestra, which consists of activists of the experimental radio station bauhaus.fm as well as alumni of the Bauhaus University Weimar. With the approach of setting a counterweight to the formatted programming of established radio stations, the Rundfunkorchestra broadcasts uncontrolled sounds into stream and ether.
For Seanaps Radio, Leon plays on the multifunctional instrument "Funkstern Plus" of the Rundfunkorchestra.
