This is a mix Karen and Kai played together back to back as KAIREN at Origin Emergence Festival on a beautiful farm in Helderstroom in South Africa on Friday 28th of January 2022. We played on the main floor from 8pm for 1,5 hrs into the night. We were asked by the organizer, @regan_nano, to morph the music from a Techno act before, to Progressive Psytrance. So we picked some slightly older, but very powerful tracks and lifted the speed from 124 to 140 bpm. As we got such beautiful emotional feedback at the party and so many questions about the tracks, we put the track list here as well.

Ultimae proudly presents "OPIA," the second Various Artists compilation curated by Danish DJ Christian Samsara. This artfully assembled collection of ten tracks captures the numinous essence of cinematic ambient music, IDM, and electronica, enveloping listeners in atmospheres that transcend the everyday, leading them into a lush sonic landscape. OPIA ideates the ambiguous intensity of eye contact, which can extrapolate to the profound connection between the music and its audience.

The second release in August is the album „Astral Flowers“ by Accent Aigu.

Behind the name Accent Aigu hide the musicians Max Gael Martin (Kazahstan) and Izgina (USA). They describe their music as experimental/electro/ambient.
The project was founded in 2011.

On the album they used such instruments as guitar, harp, tambourine, flute, bells, shackles + guitar and many other secret things. The compositions are inspiringly minimalistic  and engaging at the same time.

„Astral Flowers“ abducts the listener into a realm full of psychedelic magic.
After just a few chords or spoken/sung words you feel like you are hyptonized by an unvisible shaman´s hand. Staying contemplative a deep emotion of joy, calmness as well as curiosity evokes. This is not just a journey into sound - it´s a soul expanding experience.

"All was written very like homemade which gives the sound "live" and "natural" live-sound as it was originally conceived. The basic concept and the idea of the album can be expressed  - "Flight and human immersion in exactly the mystical mood of the ancient customs and rituals along with the mystical mood of our time, a time when the perception is distorted and the world see us as a silent vastness of eternity."
