This was my opening set for Techno Snobs event with Ancient Methods. The Techno Snobs crew were very hospitable and kind enough to record our sets. Finally, had some time to upload it. All the tracks were under 129 bpm.

We pursue this special month with @sijin-gwimyeon.

Si Jin, a Seoul-based DJ and owner of club Volnost, GWI MYEON RECORDS.

He mixes music unrestricted by a single genre, combining elements of noise and breakbeat, EBM, IDM, Techno with abstract percussions.
In his activities running Volnost, he organizes unique experimental events and performances new to Seoul’s nightlife.

Amplify Series 086 - Si Jin [Volnost Special]

Vince Gagliardi, better known by his stage name Vū, is a music producer of ethnic electronic music and experimental dark techno from Berlin. His style has been compared to artists like Muslimgauze, Tzusing and Demdike Stare.
He is also the founder of the label “Vūmantra Records”, co-founder of the label “Modern Bön” and creator of the audiovisual project “The Nent” (Cyclic Law), well-known for its impactful A∖V live performances. Vū ́s performances focus on an immersive experience creating endarkening rhythms for dystopic sub-cultures. His voice fuses with drum machines and is accompanied by live percussion, which pulls the audience into the present moment and creates a shamanic vibe.
Some of Vū’s tracks have been released on Pact Infernal’s label "Altar", Borders of Known (GE), Dark Alchemy (UK), Voidance (DE), Elektro Tribe (DE), Furanum Records (DE), Area Z (FR) and more.
In the past few years, Vū has performed live at clubs and festivals such as OHM Berlin, KitKatClub, About Blank and Lunchmeat Festival 2020, where he was the opening act for SOPHIE’s last ever performance.

[ NZM99 ]

NZM99 is a project that seems to have risen from the depths of the 90s rave scene, most notably of the early Frankfurt and Belgian tradition. 

Like few others, NZM99 knows how to revive those dark rolling bass walls of that time and pair them with fresh EBM arpeggios. 
The legacy of French legends such as Terence Fixmer, The Hacker or David Caretta is just as unmistakable as his inspiration from vintage equipment, but NZM99’s music is always informed - but never backward-looking. 

As a result, labels such as RAVE or DIE , KHOINIX and PERSEPHONIC SIRENS, quickly became aware of this unmistakable sound and were delighted with releases. NZM99 also runs his own label Tjalk Records, a heartfelt homage to the houseboat in Lyon he resides on. 

His powerful DJ and live sets have brought NZM99 to international stages as an ambassador for the non-carnivalesque rave revival.

Founder of Venaeform Records & Producer - DJ

Spheric is a DJ, producer and performer in Los Angeles. Driven by his intuitive music exploration & selections, he translates his experiential thoughts, emotions and visions of an esoteric future within forgotten worlds. He often has in mind to evoke the same emotions when he first heard cutting edge sounds during the post punk era and the early underground warehouse parties in LA.
For over 5 years, Spheric is one of the resident DJs at Distorted Disco in DTLA playing forward-thinking music & broadening the sonic horizons of LA’s scene. Still actively spinning at various underground events, he has played alongside acclaimed acts such as Ancient Methods, Blush Response, Rhys Fulber, AXKAN, Monya, WarinD, ESA, IV Horsemen, Cervello Elettronico, Sleep Clinic & Veldt.
In 2019, he resumed producing under several unique aliases -Temaut, Sullen Fate, & Ixïan with diverse releases on Venaeform Records, Brutal Forms, Omen Recordings, Obseqvivm Records, & RND.R. He incorporates a hybrid set-up of modular, hardware, and virtual systems to create his own signature palettes of sound. As in his DJing, he prefers a different path less taken with his productions and live performances.
In late 2022, Spheric commenced a new imprint out of Los Angeles called Venaeform Records. The vinyl and digital media label will be focusing on aberrations of techno, ebm and other forward thinking electronic genres.
