Lucy Kruger is a musician from Cape Town, South Africa who now lives in Berlin.

Apprentice producer and Afro Tech DJ, Gàło’s appreciation for the fusing of musical through lines and motifs developed first as a Capoeirista, experiencing the elevated embodiment and exchange of musicality and ritual rhythm of the roda. 

Gàło plays for the dance floor, with vigorous and powerful Afro Tech and Latin House soundscapes.

Gàło is co-curator of ULUNATION, a collective-run event and Afro Tech experience, and home for friendship, afro electronic music, and elated dance, presented by a community of dancers, DJs and afro electronic enthusiasts.

Mntana.WeXhwele is a receiver of sound…through the multiple indigenous instruments he has had the honour of getting to know, he manifests sonic dreams that vibrate through him by way of the ancient ones that guide. To hear his sound is to hear the ancients; stories of pain, loss, love and hope, to journey into the unimagined and the re-imagined. Hear the vibrations that heal, that draw the root of the wound to the surface and allow the listener & practitioner to together see and clean as they will; a great and necessary elixir for all of afrika today.

We are an unapologetic, self-assured, dirty-swing-rock band with strong punk influences and ideas. ST.DOG and the Day are a relatively new band, having broke onto the scene in early 2012. Previously living and trying to make it in the dirt bowl of Durban, the members gave up scholarships, jobs and family. Now residing in Johannesburg, a three piece band who’s influences include Sex Pistols, Bowling for Soup, Bob Dylan, Fokofpolisiekar and Green Day. 

 Drawing influences from personal experiences - trouble childhoods and personal tragedies, the band recorded their first single “Home” which pays tribute to lead singer, Burt Fraser’s family, his mother in particular. Recorded in Pretoria, South Africa the debut single will be released to radio in July 2013.

 The follow up single, “C’est La Vie” is a politically charged single that criticizes the South African government’s inability to deliver on any of the promises they make. It also poses the question to people living in South Africa on their inability to shake the residue of apartheid, xenophobia, corruption, nationalist propaganda...
