Genre defying, club anthem producing Morten Granau is releasing his latest track ‘San Pedro’ on Alteza Records. The enigmatic Copenhagen born producer refuses to be categorized into one individual genre. Instead he allows his musical inspiration to take the form of whatever genre the track fits into. The multi-genre DJ who shares similarities with psy-trance superstars NEELIX & Captain Hook, has previously dabbled in psy-trance, deep house, techno and his new release fits firmly in the psytrance department.

The latest track by the talented Dane is a seven minute  slice of psytrance heaven, laden with synth drops, magnificently crafted build ups, and a breathtaking valley of progressive bliss. Granau first cut his teeth in the progressive trance genre back in Denmark, and while dabbling in other genres has released astounding remixes of trance classics such as Motorcycle’s ‘As The Rush Comes’ and ATB’s ‘Ecstasy’. 

The 31-year old has a depth of experience, has played multiple festivals around the world, including Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT Festival 950 earlier this year and before it was cancelled he was scheduled to play at AIRBEAT 1 festival in Germany this summer. He has also previously been remixed by Blastoyz & Allen Watts and with this latest incredible release Morten Granau will continue his ascent toward DJ super-stardom.

When it comes to contemporary Progressive Trance, there is one particular expression frequently to be heard from DJs and party goers all around the world: Spin Twist sound. Obviously a music label of the same name succeeded in doing something only few others managed to do: Bursting the bonds of imitation, developing its very own character, and gaining international approval for doing so. Spin Twist Records has long become a leading protagonist of the genre- both for Progressive Trance lovers and the artists it represents.


The character of Spin Twist is strongly shaped by the character of its founder, Hannes Klitta. Being an avid music lover since his early childhood, he soon realizes that making music is more than merely a hobby. It is his main purpose in life. After plonking the guitar in various Metal bands he finds himself on his first Goa party in 1999- and is instantly and completely hooked by Progressive Trance.
