His passion for electronic music sees him firstas an organizer and Dj/selector since the early
2000s, but his true passion is the studio life,between synth and drum machine, producing music
for his live sets.

In 2016 he creates his first live set with Aldo Di Paolo (Tanghetto), followed by a series of collaborations with musicians and performers, including Nu Guinea on stage at Bari Music Week.

Since 2018, Twovi has been a resident of the Sound Department in Taranto, where he has
performed with his live sets. His performances are characterized by house and techno sounds, in
a whirlwind of dreamy, deep, breakbeat, electro,and synth-wave contaminations.

Spincycle records presents the first imprint on their label - a two track EP from Mieka Du Franx and Mark Ambrose on 180g heavyweight vinyl.

After meeting at a gig in LA, Mieka and Mark hit the studio together and recorded these tracks in 2016. The result - two club ready house tracks with deep, spun out vocal takes. Side A, Wake Me Up (Dreaming Dub) leads the way with floating pads, warm echoing vocals and a dubbed out, pulsating bassline. Big after hours tip if you’re feeling a little playful. Side B, Wake Me Up comes in heavy with wonky deep house chords and Mark's signature syncopation, a treat for the later hours. 

We are honoured to present these works between two veterans of the electronic music scene. This record embodies both of the artists unwavering passion for underground music and fuses both their unique sonic aesthetics.

Danny Vibe (@dannyvibe) is the co-founder of a party changing the musical landscape of Malta: Sunny Side Up. Since the first SSU in 2017, Danny and his fellow co-founder Luke (with whom he plays as UJ/DV) have established this Sunday party as an alternative offer for clubbers who want to go out during the day. Starting late morning and running through sunset into the night, the party combines groovy house music with outdoor locations and healthy food and drinks.

Previous international guests have included Ben Sims, Dana Ruh, Brawther and Carpet & Snare’s own Jorge Caiado. And in May 2024, SSU will be expanding to throw their first ever festival: Sunny Side Festival.
