This is the second track of my self titled release. This is one is a rock track. I like to focus on repetitive guitar and bass parts that evoke a trancelike experience. The drums, while retaining groove have a bit of loose jazz feel. 
The lyrics are a stream of consciousness style with many ideas thrown at the listener. Some contain a somewhat angry internal monologue based off of the corruption observed in this world, others contain personal battles and  then dreamlike rambling phenomena. I whispered and added overdrive to said vocal/speaking parts. This is composed in the key of D; using modal mixtures of major, minor and whole tone scales.
