Tiësto, recently named "Greatest DJ of All-Time" by Mixmag, combines forces with fellow Dutchman and fast rising star, Hardwell.  Their collaboration here on "Zero 76" is a monumental production, fusing each artists' style to create an early contender for tune of 2011.

Tiësto and Hardwell both hail from Breda, Netherlands and the title Zero 76 is a nod to their home town's area code.  Hardwell explains, "Being born and raised in Breda, Tiësto's hometown, I always felt a certain pride when others mentioned his name.  When meeting him for the first time, last year in Ibiza, we had an instant click that lead to this cooperation."

 

As if their country couldn't be any more proud of them, this co-production is as big as it gets.   After making the rounds at festivals around the globe and garnering massive, organic hype on youtube Zero 76 is finally poised for mass release. Danny Brown's "Smokin & Drinkin" first appeared on his critically-acclaimed album Old as the debauched peak of Side B, and has since become a staple of his live shows and a true fan favorite. So it's only right that Danny's anthem (produced by Fool's Gold captain A-Trak and JMIKE) gets a summer single of its own, complete with remixes from some of electronic music's biggest names and wildest upstarts. 

Boys Noize strikes first with a frantic blend of breakbeats and rave stabs, while FG newcomer TroyBoi turns in a technicolor trap masterpiece. Jack Beats slow "Smokin" down to a late-night acid house stomp, and Jersey club king DJ Sliink closes the party with a heavy dose of basement bass. The whole package comes wrapped in appropriately psychedelic cover art from Detroit's own underground comics hero, Motorbooty creator Mark Dancey, and will be available on limited edition picture disc vinyl from Fool's Gold later this year.

Here it is.... the 3rd chapter of #HeavenTrap Music!!!! This moment.... marks a great step forward for our community. This song came to be in a very inspiring way. About a month ago we went on Soundcloud and searched the tag "Heaven Trap".... to our surprise we saw tons of you guys are making it!! It was truly amazing to see, and we can't thank you guys enough for supporting our sound. One of these tracks was made by Party Thieves, and it stood out strongly amongst the rest. That moment we hit him up for stems because we wanted to edit his track for our live show.... he replied and sent over the pieces. As we were working we realized he had pitched up the entire track up for his version and it wasn't exactly what we had in mind to play out. We then wrote him back to let him know that we wouldn't be able to use any of his stems for our version, but that we would still add him as a collaborator on the track. We really want to support artists making this sound.... so we felt this would be a great way to boost up a very talented up-n-comer.
