The second release on Spinning Rust features a heavyweight in sound design and dance music. Harald Boyesen is a professional music producer with a longstanding career in San Fransisco, who now resides in Amsterdam. Mind Install showcases his meticulous attention to detail and grooves, as well as a darker hypnotic acid vibe. 

Label boss Ragnar Atari is on remix duty with a seriously spooky techno number, complete with his signature vocals and and a TB-303 pushed to its limits.

Ragnar Atari started Spinning Rust for a simple reason: To bring the energy and funk from old school techno into the future. 

This retrofuturistic mission requires an appropriate means of distribution. Spinning Rust is the worlds first mechanical music label, releasing selected EP:s on repurposed 2.5" hard drives. The music is also available on non rotating platforms like Spotify and Beatport.
