The series has hit a milestone of 30 mixes with the latest addition to the Selected Timbres family. Specializing in a multitude of styles and genres, Duktus has continuously taken up space on my record shelf and hard drive. With releases on some amazing labels including BlaqNumbers and OutRun Records, I was super grateful and excited to get him on the series. 

With this mix he showcased his deep house side of his moniker as we take an audial journey to Leipzig. You'll be treated to a vinyl only mix today with the first half showcasing some of Leipzig's finest. And I think that's pretty cool. :)

You may also notice two new friends who have joined Duktus in the cover photo of this mix. My new friends were crafted and gifted to me by Duktus himself, and it really showed me what a genuine guy he was. The excitement I sensed from him when I asked to be on the series was reassurance, albeit unneccessary, that he was the right man for this milestone mix.

30 mixes in the series always with quality music at the epicenter of the artists that get invited. Without rambling too much more

KERAW is a deep house production duo made by Lucas Moinet (Groove Boys Project) and Bruce Vanderro (aka Rawaï). This production team is the fusion between an instrumentalist and a beat maker, and became a common ground project for paying tribute to the early 90's US House sound. Their production process is mainly hardware based with an full analog recording studio and old school recording methods. Through their record collection, Lucas & Bruce fell for the NY deep house sound and co-founded the Studio 937 in 2018 as a place to create, experiment and record their music. Behind the desk, they play old school house music records in the NY tradition.

Tom Arkay is a French Dj & producer. He’s been deejaying for over a decade, sharing his own vision of House Music, crossing from hypnotic deep tracks to heavy raw bangers. His passion for digging, his accurate selection and his taste for vintage underground Deep House allowed him to open for renowned artists such as Cinthie, Dj Steaw and even last summer for legendary duo Mood II Swing.

In 2021 he released his first EP on his own imprint Yakra Sound. His second EP “Inner Spirit” was released in summer 2023 on Sengiley Recordings.
