For the 2nd label release of 2020, 3000 Digital welcome the up-front sounds of Benjamin Bogart, a producer whose unique blend of hard hitting drums alongside a more tech-heavy approach to bass design has earned him some fantastic plaudits.

Firstly, we dive into the title track ‘Cruise Control’, a very well thought out 4x4 design, dripping in dance floor-ready grooves and sound design, topped off with some super smooth vocal additions from the ever-ready Dread MC, a name that within the bass scene particularly needs no introduction whatsoever. As well as this, Benjamin supplies us with a secondary ammo pack as ‘Bring It Back’ follows with more grizzly bass sounds, this time with a much more haunted atmosphere throughout.
Both tracks are belters, and perfect for that first rave of the year feeling that sweeps the country every January!

Benjamin Bogart feat. Dread MC - Cruise Control

Following @francis-mercier's (as @emvafaya) metamorphic “Trippin” and @iamcossy's astral “Time’s Up EP”, the two join forces to merge the familiarity of an 80s synth line with modern vocals and futuristic piano leads on the ebullient Stereo Delight EP. On opener “Stereo High” the syncopated synths trill over the ever-familiar four-on-the-floor of the kick drum, fusing the unashamed hedonism of disco and 90s house with the tranquility of a not-so-distant utopia. The closer, “Our Love,” moves the joy of “Stereo High” out of the dreamscape and into reality with jubilant piano and soulful vocals over visceral builds alongside wistful harmonies. The effect of both tracks is an EP that seems to stretch time as it sprints into the future and dances in the ecstasies of the past. As the vocalist offers on “Stereo High,” this quick little pack of dance delights has “every little thing you need.”
