FEEL INSANE

There are different modes of awakeness and different modes of sleep. But there are also these unique modes of consciousness that are the in-between – a sort of Flight Mode. This limbo warp of a time hole sucks you into a liquid embodiment where you are not sure if you are in reality, a dream or another universe. It is in that unique moment that inspiration can appear so naturally, you just need to understand it is just there next to you for the grabs. 

Opposite8 aka Kobi Kastoriano and Idan Hos from Israel have managed to be fully aware of this Flight Mode surrounding and managed to shape the situation to their advantage. Opposite8 have been stirring things in the Psytrance scene from the 1990s and released pieces (under the name Destination) in many famous labels such as Krembo, Hed Arzi, Digital Underground and many more. They have since then released gems on Iono Music such as Force Fiction (with Solarix ), and Real Faces. 

Now that Opposite8 have leaped into the Flight Mode, it opened up an opportunity for you to get a Behind the Scene view of the world unknown, the limbo hidden realm of opportunities. Some thought it is a mere Cross Platform; however, it is much more complex and sophisticated than that. One needs to take Osher’s Progressive Love and morph it in order to fully understand the power enfolded in such a magical environment. But once that has been achieved, tranquillity spreads all around you.

Dag Wallin, aka “Human Blue”, is a progressive trance composer. He has been performing live around the globe since 1997 making him part of the established trance elite and a much celebrated live act.

Three years ago we released the first Human Blue album, finally it is time for the follow up.
Even though he has not had any releases on Spiral Trax, Dag Wallin surely kept himself busy on other labels. He is also studying to become a teacher at the University of Gothenburg and has worked part time as a music teacher as well as in a music store.
Electric Roundabout is a move from the darker sound of recent productions and represents a move towards a deeper, progressive sound. Yet he's still managed to keep his feeling for delicately structured soundscapes and harmonies backed up with a chunky groove.

The expectations on the long awaited new album from this classically schooled musician has been extremely high but not over exaggerated. When the first single, 'Carpe Diem / Intercity', from this album was released, it got enormous reviews in music magazines and became the single of the month on websites all over the world.

From the inside cover: A little "ferry tale" 

Once upon a time, a trance artist went travelling from Sweden to Germany to perform. It was a cold, rainy, and windy night in late December and he was in a hurry to reach the destination before the night was over. As he drove off the ferry into Germany, the customs stopped him when they saw that he had spikes on his winter tyres. They wouldn't let him through since spikes are forbidden on the Germany autobahn. 

They gave him three alternatives: 
1) Go back to Sweden 
2) Pull out the spikes manually. One by one! 
3) Buy new tyres. 

What did he do? The answer is found on the cover of this record..."the show must go on..."

Human Blue is one of the original Spiral Trax artists who have been with us from the beginning. During the years he has gained a strong following and respect in the trance scene and he is now about to release his third album. Electrolux continues in the same style. There are some tougher tracks but Dag has still kept his unique melodic style and some of the tracks have already been getting huge support around the world.

'Rollercoaster' from the recent single is the melodic anthem on the album while 'Demon Dance' and 'Soulsqueezer' will attract fans of more psychedelic trance. 'In Between', 'Drag Queen' and 'Atom' will for sure get attention with the Scandinavian progressive trance massive.
