C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is a green-ish comet that was discovered on March 2 last year.
It reached its closest point to the Sun on January 12. The Green Comet will be at its closest to Earth—and at its brightest in our skies—on February 1.
Comets are small bodies made of ice and dust. Their orbits around the Sun carry them from the far, outer parts of the solar system to the inner solar system, where they can become visible from Earth.
When comets are close to the Sun, they warm up. Sometimes—but not always—they develop distinctive tails of gas and dust. The head of the comet can glow green due to the presence of a chemical called diatomic carbon.

Rob composed this a couple of years ago after we'd been on holiday to the Llyn Penninsula, North Wales. Inspired by the wild beauty of Pen Llyn's north coast, this track captures the sound and spirit of the ocean crashing into the land. Photo taken from the cliffs at Traeth Tudweiliog.

This song began as a well developed, funky disco idea Roy came up with on his guitar, and shared with JJ. JJ added a wonderfully complex orchestration of various keys, including brass, strings, and the sax solo you hear towards the end. 
  JJ invited Stephen Stephen first, who came up with the funky ass wah guitar that also carries the groove. Of course, JJ realized that this is a disco song, so he enlisted Ken to come up with one of his awesome beats to carry it along. JJ had a rudimentary bass line that he played himself, but decided to get me to do the honors instead. So, I came up with a totally new bass line designed to shake your cheeks.
Once it was in the can, we decided to ask have JJ mix it for us. This is a first time JJ has mixed a song for The Eclectic Collective, and we were all impressed with his work. Stephen mastered it, as he is a master masterer. 
  We're all really impressed and delighted with the experience of working with Roy and his music. He is a very talented artist with a lot of great music to check out on his page, too.
  We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it, and that it makes you shake your hips while you're doing the dishes, too!

Hot on the heels of the huge celebrative 10th anniversary compilation "X", Glaswegian independent label Bricolage label (@bricolage-g5) hits the ground running with an absolute titan of a release from legends of the electronic underground, Multiplex (@user-64321338).

Multiplex is the longstanding project of British electronic brothers Christian & Roland Dormon, renowned mainstays of the so-called 'second wave' of IDM scene since the late 90s, honing their craft over the years through a raft of albums and EPs on some great labels such as Piehead, Lom, Senton, Progerik and the seminal Toytronic.

Based on separate sides of the Atlantic, the brothers produce by sending music back and forward to each other from separate studios.
The “ Colour Kinetica” album has all the Multiplex hallmarks. Abrasive yet vibrant melodies, cyber basslines and elastic rhythms. They take the genre’s bleeps and bass elements and put them through their own audio grinder to create a unique brand of head-spinning electro.
