True to his sound and personal vision. 

Shaped and permanently formed by soundsystem culture in the 90`s, he is launching Spiritual Sound System in 2000. Crew played important role in the czech underground. He co-founded the regular radio show Acidelika on Prague’s Radio 1 station, which in 2011 transforms into regular club parties and an outdoor festival where personas like Neil Landstrumm, Jerome Hill, Ben Pest, Dave Tarida took over deejay booth. Behind moniker Mystic Sky, he is performing slow-tribal beats Dj sets.

One of the Disciples Matthew also runs a reggae disco in his local pub with a pal, and a few years back put this mix together for o.g. Disciple Luke and his Too Fucked To Dance mixtape series, good excuse to dig through our old Suburban Base / Moving Shadow / Obscure white label 12"s. It's very rare that we get to play jungle out, the general reggae disco we run being on more of a downbeat and dubbed out side, but it's always fun when we do.

The limited edition cassette version of this (with hand-stamped outer box)on TFTD is long gone. TFTD has now mutated into Iceman Junglist Kru / Grimescapes, check it out.

BIO :
Year 1997, the underground techno parties of czech sound systems Mayapur, Technical Support and Cirkus Alien, had influenced his musical and intellectual attitude. Being interested in a lot in electronic dance music he took a two-month course of Djing for beginners in 1999, where he actually touched decks and dj mixer for the first time. After realising that he does not want to be just a party-goer but wants to take an active part in organising parties, he bought a dj setup and, according to his clear idea and musical taste, selects vinyls and begins to develop his own sound, which he describes as "music with soul" or "colorful techno”. His involvement in Prague’s now non-existent record store TSP vinyl shop also contributed to his musical inspiration.
In 2000, Dj Ghandi, together with his closest friends, founded Spiritual Sound System, which is still very active nowadays, and has a long list of past successful parties all over the Czech Republic. Spiritual sound system originated from the love of music and the friendship of the people who make up this sound system. Those two important principles are reflected in the vibe of the Spiritual parties.
Another important moment came in 2008, when he co-founded the regular radio show Acidelika on Prague’s Radio 1 station, which in 2011 transforms into regular club parties and an outdoor festival hosting lots of foreign guests. Dj Ghandi feels very honored to play alongside his many role-model djs and producers such as Neil Landstrumm, Dapayk, Bruno Pronsato, Radioactive man, Jerome Hill, Paul Birken, Ben Pest, Lukes Anger, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida and others.
After 21 years of active djing, Dj Ghandi remains faithful to playing from records despite all the music technology advancements. He's never focused on one musical genre, so you can hear him playing styles such as oldschool acid techno, minimal, tech-house, but also raw breaks and slow oldschool electro.

Rok 1997 a tehdejší undergroundové techno akce českých soundsystémů Mayapur, Technical Support a Cirkus Alien ovlivnily jeho celkové hudební i myšlenkové postoje.
Natolik zaujat elektronickou taneční hudbou využívá v roce 1999 nabídky dvoumesičního kurzu pro začínajicí dje, kde si poprvé osahává gramofony a mixpult.
Tehdy si uvědomuje, že nechce být jen návštěvníkem parties, ale chce se aktivně podílet na jejich průběhu. Proto pořizuje dj techniku a podle své jasné představy a vkusu vybírá vinyly a začíná si tak tvořit vlastní zvuk, který on sám dnes popisuje jako "hudba s duší" nebo "barevný techno".
K jeho inspiraci přispělo také působení v pražském, dnes už neexistujícím vinyl shopu TSP.
V roce 2000 zakládá Dj Ghándí spolu se svými nejbližšími přáteli vlastní seskupení Spiritual Sound System, které dodnes velmi aktivně funguje a má za sebou dlouhý seznam akcí téměř po celé ČR. Spiritual vznikl z lásky k hudbě a z dlouholetého přátelství lidí, kteří tento soundsystem tvoří. A právě tyto dva důležité principy se odráží v atmosféře parties, které Spiritual pořádá.
Další důležitý moment nastává v roce 2008, kdy spoluzakladá pravidelné radiové vysíláni Acidelika na pražském Radiu 1. Z tohoto radiového pořadu se zároveň stává v roce 2011 koncept nezávislých parties a festivalů se zahraničními hosty. Dj Ghándí má tímto velkou čest hrát po boku svých mnohaletých vzorů, kterými jsou Neil Landstrumm, Dapayk, Hobo, Jerome Hill, Lukes Anger, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida a další.
Dj Ghándí zůstává po 21 letech djingu věrný výhradně vinylům i přes veškerou novodobou modernizaci. Nikdy se nezaměřoval na jeden hudební žánr a tak v jeho pestrých dj setech můžete slyšet styly jako jsou oldschool acid techno, minimal, tech-house ale také syrové breaky a pomalé oldschool electro.
