“Joa (she/they) joaofarc is a DJ and music producer currently based in Milan. She ventures different genres of electronic music, from a debut DIY field-recording tape and many self-released club tools to DJing experiences started with a series of queer/lgbt+ parties thrown randomly throughout the 2020/21 biennium, culminating, on the recent years, with gigs throughout many venues in northern and central Italy. Last year, she joined the Spiritual Sauna family in Milan, delivering cosmic experimental clubbing in the city, curating sound and care in the party.
Raised by internet and music subcultures, her music influences, production and selections range majorly from breakcore/D&B, footwork, hard techno, IDM and experimental ambient/drone. She has co-founded in 2021 a collective called spite000, a maximalist multi-disciplinary platform mainly focused on music production and DJing, working together with a network of gender non-conforming visual and performative artists”

JOA is a DJ, music producer and event organiser currently based in Milan, who forged their music experience throwing queer underground free-parties throughout the city and beyond. Pushing and crushing boundaries between genres under the hard dance umbrella, they conjure fast, hard and ecstatic DJ set, ranging from DnB, Breakcore/Jungle, Juke, Techno and Latincore, unafraid to mix or to reference. They co-founded the maximalist music platform SPITE and are now being a godmother for newborn queer/flinta collective Spiritella Furfante. She’s also been collaborating with Spiritual Sauna’s crew and their experimental clubbing experiences, curating door-care and sound.
