Demo for the superb Zebra synthesizer patch set, Dark Zebra. It has been programmed by none other than the magical Howard Scarr and the great composer, Hans Zimmer. This might be the soundtrack to a ride in a striped mobile. All synths Zebra, drums stock Logic Pro.

As it says in the (rather prosaic) title, going for a simple, repeated phrase that gradually ratchets up tension. My aim here is to use orchestration and texture only rather than chord progression, development of material or key structure. Spitfire Albion 2 is the sample library.

ZZZZZZ project so great vocal stems to work with. Took some ZZZZZfrom multitrack and had a mess around. Played around with panning and eq fx on vox, copying tracks, had some fun getting creative. Sounds a bit Joy Div at start, then builds up to bit of a gospely finish, was thinking of a certain Air track, inspired me, and nice to play some proper piano. Let us know what you think. Programmed drums, not sure if totally right, had problems balancing everything but always do....find mixing So difficult! Anyway, will have a listen tomorrow, make some decisions then. Thanks for listening. Photo is a lamp I bought at a festival, made in a little village somewhere by someone I will never meet, its a beautiful thing intricately worked, made with love and pride.
