Deep underground lies a place unlike any other, one that defies imagination until you've descended into its depths yourself: Unter Tage. From dawn till dusk, the relentless echo of pickaxes fills the air. The work beneath the surface is harsh, filthy, and deafening.

The first descent into the mines carries a cocktail of fears, a dance with the unknown that lurks within the cavernous depths. Yet, there's a strange allure to the subterranean mysteries of mining operations. The carving of tunnels and shafts into the earth, the extraction of coal amidst the ever-present threat of tragic accidents—collapses, dust, noise, and explosions punctuate the miners' daily routines.

However, the underground world also offers an aesthetic and sensory experience like no other. The juxtaposition of restriction and vastness is heightened by additional elements: unique odors, a harmony of sounds dominated by machinery yet punctuated by the creaking and groaning of rock. The interplay of darkness and illumination further adds to this experience, evoking an undeniable sense of an oppressive feeling.
