Atmosphere Festival 2023

I've never seen a moon so big or a party so beautiful as Dragon Dreaming was this year. Waking up for the Main Stage Sunday morning was a pleasure. My set started at 146bpm with some melodic morning full on, moved through some unreleased Flow Theory bangers, and finished at 140bpm with some Progressive goodness to top it off ✨

My debut set in WA was certainly one to remember thanks to the legends at Madhatterz! The level of detail in the festival and the music flow was spot on. 

I put this set together to kick things off in an eery halloween style theme, with a flow of melodic full on, twilight and night time psy goodness. 

This was certainly one of my favourite sets of the year!

Mycelium Connections on UDGK Radio (Psytrance) Extended # 9

James, aka Spizjim's musical journey started from a young age, knowing his soul purpouse was to do with music, sound, frequency and vibration. Kicking off his Djing in early 2022 he birthed his psytrance project - Spizjim. He quickly and felt a deep connection to mixing and wanting to produce psytrance. 

Most things musical came organically to James. Being drawn to music from as early as he could remember, he gravitated towards Drums as a young fella and has continued to play for his whole life. 

Growing up his musical taste was heavily influenced around metal music, being a drummer and a vocalist. After being introduced to the doof scene in 2016 and getting a taste for psychedelic sound he immediately felt something ignite within and began exploring all aspects of psychedelic music and sound. His metal influence definitely shines through and influences what he creates in his psytrance project. Delivering a unique psychedelic experience of hard hitting and melodic journeys with driving basslines. 

He keeps his range diverse and plays progressive thriugh to full on psytrance. Sharing his unique style and story is his mission wherever he goes, tuning in and resonating with the dance floor to create a mind altering journey. He aims to facilitate a connection to self, to wholeness, and to freedom of expression through psychedelic music.
