Throughout my life, I have been a bit an international artist and that is why I must continue to say that what is happening now is a crime against humanity. What a year it's been! This was definitely our year; we put in so much work the past 3 years to set ourselves up for the future and  we wouldn't be here without you. There were so many great releases, tracks, new artists who emerged that it is literally impossible to cover everyone. I went through all of my playlists from this whole year by each month and compiled 220+ tracks. But I was only able to get through 103 tracks. Don't be mad if you were an artist who  had a lot of play on our radio show this year and didn't make the cut... it has nothing to do with it not being good enough.. it was more about just the flow and vibe of this session. 

This isn't your typical best of session where we go in order by EP,s albums, artists.. it's just a freestyle.. no favoritism.. everyone is winning; SOULECTION STYLE!

A two hour journey through the utterly singular sound of Broadcast. Fronted by the late Trish Keenan, the Birmingham band melded the novel soundscaping of library music and early electronic experiments with their own sensitive take on indie rock and pop. Keenan's untimely passing in 2011 effectively ended the project - but a limited amount of previously unheard material has surfaced in the following years. 

This mix features classics and obscurities from across Broadcast's discography, including exclusive tracks featured in upcoming compilation "[Distant Call - Collected Demos 2000-2006](https://broadcast.bandcamp.com/album/distant-call-collected-demos-2000-2006)".
