Werkhoven grew up in a musical family. His father was a big-time music collector and his uncle played in a funk band. Being inspired by this he embarked on his own musical journey, he started going to house and techno parties. After going to these parties he knew exactly where he would continue his journey in the world of music, it was a search to create his own sound and that sound would set him apart from the rest.
Werkhoven started producing and dj`ing, focusing on creating his own sound. He got his first professional gigs in a club formerly known as Subsonic, in Groningen. This is where he really got the chance to master his own sound meet like-minded people with the same passion for music.
About a year ago he started and event organization with two of his close friends in Groningen, they named it Plotsklaps Events. With this organization he has been able to share the stage with names like Mulder, Sandeep, Hollt, Man With No Shadow, and De Sluwe Vos. Next to that he was invited to spread his groovy sound in other cities like Amsterdam, Leeuwarden and Zwolle.
