Hay hay, Happy New Year all! We're back with Episode 17 💦

Hope everyone had a lovely festive season filled with good friends, good food, loving family and a drink or six. But now it’s time to jump back into some mixes - And we’re kicking things off with a belter! Non other than Cape Town regular Barista,  supplying us with a mix filled with neck breaking bounce from start to finish.

"Not confined to a particular genre, Barista's sets are rather constructed based on high energy and groove, featuring a dynamic blend of four-to-the-floor rhythms interwoven with broken beats. Within this framework, you'll hear selections characterized by driving basslines, intricate percussion, and carefully chosen vocals.

His eclectic sound has been showcased at some of the city's most beloved events, including Future Frequency, Smalltown Beat, and Kunda Valley, along with regular appearances at Mødular. He has also co-founded local event brands PRISM, Kar Park, and Pop Up, all of which are a testament to his multi-faceted approach to electronic music."
