Mike Jedlicka and Tim Westcott (wndfrm/cloudburst) performed live at PNCA in Portland, OR on 4/6/14 for SIX, a 6.1 surround sound event.

Mike played the OP-1 and guitar w/ a ditto x2 looper, grunge distortion, and H9 pedals.
Tim added field recordings, the beat, and processed the audio into surround sound.

This edition of the mix series is an ode to the Kwazulu Natal dominating style called Qgom.

Fabrício Peçanha graces us with a sunshine-filled two tracker on Phonique’s increasingly essential Ladies & Gentlemen label. 

Peçanha has been making waves in his homeland of Brazil for some time, even going so far as to win a DJ championship in his hometown in the early 90s. Since then he’s been attracting attention from around the globe for his innate sense of how to rock a party right – a skill that is very much in evidence in this release. 

'Forgive Me' is a slinky little boogie number that will work on any crowd. Seemingly beaming in from 1983, the synth bass is the real deal - a springy, funky foundation for the ultimate RnB vocal. Underlying it all is 4:4 knowledge that will resonate with dancers and DJs alike – get on this one quick. 

Perfectly complimenting the original, the Two Men Army mix ups the tempo and heads directly for the jugular. The beat hits hard and is accompanied by a classic house riff and electric piano flourish that perfectly underpin the ever-present, infectious vocal.
