We are delighted to present a mix from the groove dealer himself, Portugal-based DJ and producer VIL for number 86. Starting off under the Moniker "Sinner", VIL made his debut in the electronic music scene in 2008, playing Drum N' Bass, UK Garage and Dubstep. Then in 2013 he kickstarted his current VIL project, focused on techno, breaks, electro and house, which was followed by a string of releases on labels like Lewis Fautzi's "Faut Section" as well as Damon Wild's Synewave New York. VIL's set-building ability as well as his refined taste and unmistakable sound have made him a regular at clubs and festivals all around his home country. Then in 2018, VIL teamed up with fellow artists Temudo and menosdois to create HAYES, a label focused on putting out quality releases showcasing the distinct sound of their artists. The platform has been wildly successful with multiple releases to date, garnering support from some of the biggest names in the scene. Enjoy!

The autumn leaves flying in the air mark a new season, and the next chapter in the Nachtblumen Podcast.  

Thomas Hijmering is a Dutch DJ and Producer coming from Amsterdam. He started exploring music in all its facets from an early age. Curious by nature, and with an eternal drive for experimentation, Thomas has been involved with the local music scene with various projects. 

In the recent years Thomas appeared behind the booth as a part of the duo File Not Found with one of his best briends Brent Jacko, who is now running the independent electronic music platform Minimal Collective. This project focused on the wider spectrum of music, without any limitations or definitions, but one main thing - their immense passion for music. Nowadays, Thomas is also involved and contributing to Minimal Collective too.

In the post pandemic world, Thomas became a resident of the Amsterdam organization Orphic, which has been a big step for his career as a DJ. Being so close in touch with the core community of the Amsterdam music scene, inspires him to evolve as an artist and also help shape the sound of the organization every day. 

Characterized by hypnotizing sounds, groovy rhythms and beautiful layering, Thoms Traxx is an artist that tells a story in every performance of his. He easily adapts, and is capable of creating various atmospheres with a lot of dynamic depending on the place and company he is at. One reason for that is the wide spectrum of music that he appreciates. 

His artistic journey is taking a momentum already, as we are seeing him play internationally in Paris and Berlin, and all over The Netherlands. It's only the beginning for such a talented dedicated young man.

For this podcast, Thomas went deeper into his soul and created a journey that reflects his love for hypnotic techno. The next hour is a beautiful journey, recorded with a lot of thought and feeling, from an artist that surprises his audience every day. Get in the mood for ADE next week and start dancing already!

Born in 90, Naples and living in Berlin since 2011.
Developed his passion for music when he got his hands on his first vinyl records and turntables at a young age. The passion soon grew into a deep love for old house music.
He kept following the path of music that finally led him to the sounds of techno.
Fascinated by the sound of Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Steve Rachmad and more, experimenting and developing his skills for years and expanding his love for techno also to the Dj side, using various synthesizers to create new and strong sounds, the upcoming musician is trying to keep the soul in to techno, wandering between various genres and never standing still. He constantly keeps exploring and building up his very own handwriting in electronic sounds, without skipping the good House Music.
Owner of the live streaming project No Signal based in Berlin and also party-maker since 2014. Joined Mixworks roaster Agency in 2018 and released his first records on Estetika and 4trks from Dj Hyperactive in Chicago and launched his label "No Signal Records" in 2021,
supported by the most talented artist of the techno scene.

After experimenting with Dubstep and Drum ’n’ Bass for over 8 years Franz Jäger started in 2016 following a more technoid approach. Based in Stockholm and inspired by the works of Seba, DJ Slip a.k.a. Troy Geary as well as jazz, soul and the sound of nature he now passionately focusses on his unique interpretation of minimalistic and organic Techno full of momentum and carefully crafted soundscapes. With early support and mentoring from Cari Lekebusch he first played at one of the infamous „Underground Cult“ parties followed by numerous gigs all over Sweden including Club ‚mmmmm‘ in Stockholm. As resident of Schimmer Records from Stuttgart and with his release on HAYES Collective in 2020 and his debut album on Diffuse Reality in 2021 he gained massive attention and received heavy support for his outstanding creative output. Having had his first international appearance in Berlin for Room Lab shortly after Franz Jäger is now part of both Schimmer Records and Thrust Agency. With upcoming releases on SYXT, New Rhythmics and more Franz Jäger will surely be heard plentily exploring the depths of eletronic music paired with his distinctive combination of organic and broken sounds.
