For our special 50th edition of the series we invited the Dallas based producer and DJ who specializes in the realm of minimal and sci fi techno. He has been making a name for himself in the scene during the past few years and has been named by Richie Hawtin as the new generation of U.S. techno. With an emphasis on deep kicks and rolling sequences, he has had notable releases on labels such as Axis, Float, Subsist, and his own imprint Codec Recordings.

This infectious mix with extensive and subtle layering will be a certain treat for your ears!

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the British dj & producer Operator(Soma Records / Gnosis Records).

Operator is the alias of UK electronic music artist, engineer and DJ Rich Jones, known for his Techno and House productions on Soma, 8 Sided Dice, Kanzleramt, and Greta Cottage Workshop, over 18 vinyl releases to his name, and having been remixed by Mark Broom and Joey Beltram over the years.
After 6 years of releasing music under his own name, Operator, alongside Richʼs imprint Gnosis Records, was born in 2012 to allow free reign to explore his own unique take on Techno, influenced mainly by the sound closest to his heart - that being the hypnosis inducing tribal tinged percussive loopy sound of the late 90s/early 00ʼs that he grew up on. 
With Operator, and Gnosis Records, the theme was to be on the transcendental nature of ‘flow statesʼ induced by repetitive percussive rhythms and altered consciousness states, with a nod to spirituality, psychedelia, futurism and cyber punk aesthetics, all things close to Richʼs heart.
Today we are thrilled to host this killer set which perfectly puts his sound in focus.

Parisian – Benales has been honing his skills since the end of the 90s with impeccable taste and steady determination. As an avid record collector, vinyl only DJ and enthusiast of Techno and House – his DJ sets and tracks combine the raw, dark and deep elements of these musical forms with a firm nod in the direction of Detroit. His talent allows him to put himself in many clubs in Europe like Tresor, Rex Club, Le sucre, The Gate (Georgia)... but also as a regular guest of Concrete when it’s not rare to find Benales surrounded by guest of solid reputation like DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, Dj Pete, James Ruskin. Fascinated by Techno and coldness of electronic music, he released some EP’s and remixes on Sino (Technasia Label), and notably “Elements part 1 & part 2” have marked his spot in the international scene. Over the years, he had several releases on outstanding labels like KEY Vinyl (Freddy K label), Suburban Avenue, Analog Solutions, Knotweed, Diffuse Reality and many more to follow.

22 year old Sam Jeffery is an artist whose focus is on what’s real in techno. Sci-fi synths and highly focused drums. Inspired by his idols on techno such as DVS1 but with roots in Chicago house. The only way to describe Sam’s taste would be “real”.

An hour of wild synths, ethereal bleeps and distant textures enjoy this display of taste and mixing skills.

[BIO]:
Luca Redivo, in art R/D/V, is an Amsterdam-based audio engineer and Techno DJ/Producer who discovered his passion for music at an early age. 
Starting from his position of vinyl lover and careful researcher of sophisticated music, he soon came into contact with the European club culture. 
His DJ sets and productions are focused on a refined sound that varies between the most obscure Berlin Techno shades; they are characterised by organic drums and analogue synths.

R/D/V has recently released on Devotion, Secret Keywords, Default Series, West Rules, Monark, Immaterial Archives, Eclectic Limited and Muted. He is part of the RRVRNT booking agency and has lately performed for Tech Clubbers, Oscur Minneapolis, Drone Existence, Atomar Audio, Cosmonauts Athens, OT301, Echobox and Studio/K. 
Whilst collaborating and contributing to conceptual initiatives such as ArknA Project, Luca currently engineers at his studio and venue 8sixA.

We´re back with another podcast and this time we are graced by @darko-esser (Aka Tripeo) who we have already had the pleasure to enjoy during our first outdoor edition in LOFI Amsterdam. 

The Dutch dj, producer and promoter is a staple of the scene and has long been active on all fronts. His idea for this particular mix is telling a story through different voices than his own, using only tracks produced by artists from lgbtqia+ community.
