Pino Peña launches his new label W133. The label combines analog photography by Freya Gerz with diverse styles of electronic music. 
For the first release he has gathered 5 great tracks from artists all over the world.
The first track "Voices from the Dawn" is a smooth intro with elegant pads and a lush beat by Timo Rinker from southern Germany.
Right afterwards "Anorak" by Valdemar from Stockholm hits slightly harder with precise percussions in a cool bass 4/4 techno hybrid. 
Pino Peña kicks off the B Side with the deep and fast rhytmic banger "Officer Rumba", building on dembow infused grooves. As a 4th track CucaRafa from Lisbon delivers 90s influenced groovy techno in "Deves Achar Que Eu Nasci Ontem". 
As a closer for the EP, No Sir delivers a bass and break heavy beast called "Unknown Entities" fresh outta Brooklyn. 

The release will be available digitally and as a very limited 12" dubplate edition with the analog photos printed.

"A mix series focused on showcasing the spicy mix of ghetto house, electro & everything in between."

Mahabe consists of two like-minded friends who are currently based in Amsterdam. They live together, they eat together, but most of time they play records together. Over the years they’ve built up a decent collection of records which stretches out from techno to electro and from house to ghetto.
Over the years Mahabe have played several clubs and festivals throughout the Netherlands such as: BRET, Wildeburg, KOPJEK and Soenda to name a few.
They also run a monthly radio show called 137 FM, where they play sets that represent their club sound as well as host listening sessions ranging from jazz, hiphop, rare groove and soundtracks. So expect the unexpected, but know that when they’re playing their records, all that’s on their minds is: “What would we like to hear if we we’re on the dancefloor right now?”

Alex Ranzino is a Producer & DJ from Amsterdam. His recognizable sound consists of a hard hitting combination of acid, techno and electro. Alex finds a lot of inspiration in old-school production techniques and music from the past era. The combination of oldschool and modern production techniques is very much audible in his own productions and dj-sets. 

Alex' main goal is to share the music he likes the most, this can either be recent discoverties, personal favorites or own productions. This often results in a diverse and eclectic range of sounds - breakbeats, acid, loopy stuff… It’s all appreciated! Alex has some releases coming up which you might could hear in this mix. Opening up our label mix series is Dosed Audio’s co-creator Jarrod Yeates with an all vinyl mix of energetic locked grooves with a focus on sounds from the late 90s and early 2000s. 

Jarrod discovered his love for electronic music as a teen in the underground bush and warehouse scene. Since then he has progressed to play at a variety of Perth's club and warehouse nights for local crews FLUX, GRIT and ITM. 

As a long time listener and obsessive collector, this mix is a strong representation of his affinity with 90s / 2000s vinyl, blending old and new tracks that define that era.

Pino Peña, the berlin based resident of Schimmer Records and label head of W133, curates a journey through recently discovered tunes as well as tracks that have been sitting in his library for a while! The focus was put on combining dark atmospheres with diverse styles of techno, breaks and stuff in between. He recorded this after coming back home from Mexico City and you can hear the latin influences he has learned to love! Enjoy <3

Charlie produces an eclectic range of hardware-based techno out of Nashville, Tennessee. He started DIY club and experimental venue Disctrix last year with fellow producers Blaine Mason, Redline, and power electronics outfit Mindfold. (The unassuming one-story house has since hosted bills ranging from Chicago house luminary Stacy Kidd to noise legend Rodger Stella.) A resident DJ and curator for the Phaaser party series, Conway’s releases include tracks and remixes for Harmless Records, Clan Destine, Softcore, Dreme Rotation, and Limited Network, with exclusive mixes for Harmless Records, Minimal Detroit, Mutant Radio, Fixed Rhythms, Echo Recordings, and Voragine.

mul/ANNA is a young DJ from the Hague, but she’s already (un)officially dubbed as the best ghetto house DJ of The Netherlands. Her urge to make people dance is fueled by an insatiable appetite for dirty ghetto house and lots of groovy beats from a wide range of genres such as booty house, electro and old school techno.

It’s important to her that people feel safe and fully can be themselves on the dance floor, that’s why she started her own mix and event series BUMBU. Inspired by her Indonesian heritage, BUMBU is her vehicle and platform where she invites likeminded friends and peers such as Mahabe, Jelly, KI/IP and Kimmah. In her driving DJ sets mul/ANNA always channels that energy that will ultimately make your booty shake.

mul/ANNA has shared the bill with DJ mell G, Viikatory, I-F, DJ Assault and more at favourite places like PIP, POING, VAULT SESSIONS, THE CRAVE and SKATECAFE.
