S P O K’s sets have been described as “Trippy psychedelic gangsta shit”. Extraterrestrial synth lines, acid inspired basslines and moody wobbly bass, SPOK takes you on an energetic journey through sound. Playing DnB, Trap, Hybrid trap, dubstep and experimental bass, SPOK smashes heavy basslines. S P O K draws inspiration most notably from rap and hip hop but also from reggae, jazz, gospel and more. 

S P O K has had the honour of opening for many notable performers including Slim Thug, Ganga White Night, Doctor P, Dirt Monkey, Sub Docta, Whipped Cream, Transforma, Perkulat0r, and more and has played at multiple festivals including Motion Notion, Electric Love, Impact Festival, Valhalla Fest, and more. 

Featured as a DrumNBass Girl of Canada, resident DJ for Any Given Sunday DnB night at the Astoria in Vancouver, and resident DJ for the infamous Vancouver Halloween Skytrain parties, SPOK is honoured to have been part of many BC and Alberta based events, festivals and shows, including at Bloom Nightclub in Nelson, Red Room for Subculture Saturdays in Vancouver, and more. 

SPOK has been featured on labels such as Shadowtrix, Mal Label, Keep Deep, and Really Good recordings. Spok’s song with GDubz “Infinite Light”, a Benga Flip, is mentioned in an EDM.com article as a notable entry on Conrank’s Fall 2018 Mix. 

SPOK continues her love of hardware synthesizers and is exploring new sounds and vibes while working on a new album.
