Violent Vickie is a multi-media synth/electropunk band from San Francisco, Calif. Inspired by riot grrrl and electronic music, Vickie started out by recording drum machines, keyboards, samplers, guitars, and vocals onto a four track. Her lyrics question society and address female stereotypes, consumerism, addiction and religion.

Growing Dark
What was lost now is real and what is real has disappeared

Just prisoners predisposed she explained everything

these paths are hidden anyway
An end has come for humanity with a smile she touched my face
Holding to hope is dishonesty don’t make that mistake

Then make our way to the present form
