Jader Agnolin aka JADER AG, is  an Italian born, Canadian based artist entering into the music industry with a unique sound. He began his journey through music when he was 14, starting his passion for music by playing electric guitar in a hard-core punk band. He later shifted to drums which has taught him the importance of having a plethora of sounds in each individual track. Jader has had DJ experience in Italian parties and began producing his own music in 2010. Since then, he has explored a variety of genres, styles, artists and era’s of music as he travelled through Europe and North America. Jader is ongoingly expanding his knowledge of music striving to evolve his sound described as tech-house with deep influences. His mixes are authentic and original which can be felt through the magnetic groove. Jader is very passionate about the music he is releasing which can be heard through the many components incorporated in each track. 

PLAIN AS GHOSTS draws on deep, personal experiences derived through love, loss and life. The intimate lyrics spark an outlook of hope and integrity which comes as a refreshing take on a genre typically fuelled by anger and aggression. The music is described as heavy and lyrically directed with hints of melodic ambience.

Comprised of Trevor Lux (vocals/guitar), Adam Halstrom (bass/vocals), Daniel Friesen (guitar/vocals) and Rodrigo Ramirez (drums), the band formed in the fall of 2014 and is based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. They rehearse from Trevor's home in Niverville - a rural community 30 km south of Winnipeg.

RENDERING is the band's self-produced debut album, hitting ears on May 27, 2016. The title "rendering" refers to the idea of creating or performing something as a means of processing emotion. Lead track "Monday Morning Quarterback" is a dynamic rock-alternative anthem about the simple act of passing judgement from a position of hindsight.

This prairie rock band draws upon many combined years of stage and studio experience. As such, PLAIN AS GHOSTS is excited to bring a dynamic, high energy performance to the stage with a dash of down to earth charm!

Phineas Gage, was a man who suffered a tragic accident when a railroad spike he was tampering explosives with, went through his head. His personality changed. Phineas Gauge liken the spike to music, altering their fundamental nature, in an utterly profound way.

In the summer of 2010 Geoff Thompson (bass and vocals) and Trevor Lux (guitar and vocals) decided to give it one last go in the Manitoba music scene.  Both had played in multiple local bands and tasted small amounts of success, but neither felt that they were making the kind of music that was residing in their hearts.  Committed to keeping it simple and maintaining a focused approach to song writing, they set off to find a drummer that could round out their sound.  It took until the following year for them to find the right fit in Rodrigo Ramirez who graciously stepped in and complimented the new material with his own flair and energy.  With the 3 piece line up cemented, Callida (which means to be characterized by intense emotion) began work on their first album right away and playing shows whenever they could.

Throughout the next year, the trio began self-recording all the material they could and after 12 months of hard work they were delivered the biggest challenge of their musical careers.  A computer malfunction left them with a year’s worth of work lost and the daunting task of starting over again from the beginning.  However, from the ashes of that disaster the band emerged more committed than ever and set off on the aggressive path of starting over.  The result is their first EP release “Sedulity”which exemplifies the hard work and integrity necessary to overcome such a set back.  With a summer 2014 release date set, the band now turns their attention to sharing their lyrically driven, prairie inspired hard rock with the world and awaiting the next step in their musical career.
