The concept of Bass&Pads is simple, a music collaboration project where the focus is moved away from the personality of both artists so that the music can more directly speak for itself. And that concept seems to be working well so far, with their debut track to be chosen by Mikalogic for his Mixed Compilation - Secret Sauces Exposed and also new tracks signed on King Street Sounds Music Group, Perlekind Records, Goldentears, Hush Recordz, Musica Gourmet or 9000 Audio. The Duo delivers a mature and complete sound acquired on many hours logged in the studio and a sophisticated world view that comes across in the stories their music tells.

DJ NeKKoN – Biography

‘Taylor De Ridder’ (born January 4, 1986), better known as NeKKoN, is a passionate hobby DJ and music enthusiast who dedicates his free time to sharing his unique sound and energetic sets. Hailing from Denderleeuw (Belgium), NeKKoN has developed over the years into a versatile DJ who blends genres such as house, techno, and trance in his own personal way.

From an early age, Taylor was captivated by the power of music. His passion for creating and sharing beats soon brought him behind the decks, where he discovered that performing is, above all, about joy, friendship, and connection. Over time, he refined his skills and crafted a recognizable style with melodic influences and solid rhythms, always aiming to create atmosphere rather than pursue commercial goals.

NeKKoN’s musical journey is characterized mainly by its hobby-based nature and his strong connection with the audience. His performances have taken him to well-known clubs (such as Carré, Sapphire, La Rocca, Club 45, Noxx, and The Lounge Boat) as well as to neighborhood parties, small dance cafés, and charity events like the Rainbow Festival. He has occasionally taken part as a co-organizer, always out of passion and involvement, never from a commercial perspective.

In addition to performing, NeKKoN also enjoys music production. His tracks – available on platforms such as SoundCloud and Spotify – serve as a creative outlet and reflect his pleasure in experimenting with sound. The positive feedback he receives strengthens his motivation to keep making music as a hobby and passion.

NeKKoN continues to evolve, not driven by commercial ambitions, but by the belief that sharing and experiencing music is one of the most beautiful ways to bring people together. For him, every set or release is an opportunity to create memories and share energy.

Chilean born Producer, DJ and label head who commenced his musical career as a guitarist in the Toronto underground metal community. 

In 2017 Heatscore founded Lazuli Reords to release his own works. Now, the label has expanded to become a heavy hitter in the underground electronic music community, with recent support from several DJ's including international superstar DJ Tiesto.

Heatscore has released music on Syncopate Afterhours, Trippy Code Records, Traum Techno Germany, Lazuli Records, Lazuli Black, and Belgium’s Tanzgemeinschaft. Notable released include 2020's Close Encounters EP,  which charted on Beatport top 100 hard techno releases peaking at number 8 for 14 days. 

Heatscore's sound can be characterized by it's deep house grooves, punching techno beats and beautiful guitars and vocals often performed by Heatscore himself. Live DJ sets offer a variety of both originals and curated favorites of Deep House, Minimal and Techno productions and can be heard on We Own The Night Podcasts.
