Music changed my life and who I am. I was once bullied and 
never had the confidence to talk to people. I was a introvert never really trying to meet new people. I felt like everyone looked down on me. I thought what was the point of living.

Music and a pen became my best friends. After listening to music more it changed my life.... Its like hearing that fun song made me forget I was sad. Artist like Eminem told me that any one can become more. Over time I wasn't afraid of being me.

Philadelphia raised EQ, is a Hip Hop Soul Artist now making his mark in Los Angeles. Hailing from the City of Brotherly Love and Soul Music, has fueled EQ to launch his poignant style of Hip Hop to the forefront of the industry.

The release of EQ’s debut album ‘The Gathering’, on September 15th 2015, has initiated amazing opportunities to perform live at a series of gigs across the vibrant Los Angeles Hip Hop scene in recent months. Having worked as an audio engineer and producer for over a decade gave EQ the experience he needed to produce, engineer and mix the majority of his debut project ‘The Gathering.’ Recognized as a New Age Renaissance man, EQ continues to work with some of the most talented artists and creative souls from around the world.

 Buoyed by the success of ‘The Gathering’, EQ plans to release two more albums this year and embark on a nationwide tour. 

EQ doesn’t seem to be holding anything back in his passion to create, and after listening to him drop success driven bars in his songs; you can only believe that EQ will not stop until he has reached the pinnacle of excellence he strives for.
