Formed by two figures of the French electronic underground scene, Danse Alice is the dream project of craftsmen who combine punk spirit, stakhanovist ethics and disdain for contemporary formatting. Spontaneously shaped in the studio in a creative burst, the first tracks of this Seagull & Horses EP finds a happy medium between innovation and coaxing reminiscences of a golden age during which punks and clubbers used to meet together on the same dirty sidewalks. And it is in an extremely logical way that Lumière Noire, Chloé's records label, publishes today this EP which is likely to make an impression.

Norway's Snick Snack Music welcomes Scandinavian electronic duo Trulz & Robin for an album of all-new analogue house jams.
This accomplished pair has already released four albums before this one and are masters of cooking up characterful club tracks. They combine classic sounds from house and techno into something funky, hypnotising and entirely their own. They call upon legendary house music vocalist Robert Owens, Kate Pendry, and their longtime collaborator Baseman for guest spots on this sublime LP.

Say the duo of this latest endeavour, “‘Out of Sync’ is for us an album re-connecting us to our roots. We wanted to create the music in the moment. With feeling and rawness. To embrace the imperfections that arose, and leave out the minds analysing and controlling nature.”

Kicking things off is ‘Inside Of Me' featuring Chicago great Robert Owens; it’s a timeless tune that could be a lost Fingers Inc cut. The drums are deep, and the vocal is among his best in years. 'U Get Some' has a similar early era house vibe with rough edge drums and low-slung bass, then Kate Pendry guests on 'This Is Love', a steamy deep acid cut with pounding drums and warped bass. 'Let Yourself Go' is taught but sensual, with bulbous bass offset by sharp, bright hi-hats that cut right through. 'The Wiggler' featuring Tolani & Baseman is one to get rumps moving with fat, wobbly bass and subtle acid twitches and 'Sync' with Baseman is full flavour deep house with a dark soul and muted chords that hook you in.

Robert Owen returns on 'Be There For U' with an ice-cold vocal that sits amongst lithe synths and stark hits; It's old school Chicago house with a contemporary twist. 'Unconscious' is defined by a rousing monologue from Muhammad Ali as turbulent bass sprays about beneath jacked-up drums and Chuc Frazier closes things out on the peak time acid smasher 'Divine Electricity'

‘Out of Sync’ is another irresistible analogue house masterclass from Trulz & Robin. The album drops on June 2nd, preceded by ‘Inside of Me’ on May 5th, ‘U Get Some’ on May 19th and ‘Divine Electricity’ on May 26th.

Surmillo delivers the 'Take Me Out EP’ on Renaissance’ sister label BAU_HAUS…

With plenty of support from artists such as Far&High, Eelke Kleijn, Goom Gum, Nora En Pure, Innellea, Oliver Koletzki and Nicole Moudaber, he’s firmly on the ‘one to watch’ fast track. Further certification recently came with his inclusion on Diynamic’s acclaimed ‘Four To The Floor’ VA series.

BAU_HAUS is back on familiar indie ground with Surmillo’s EP following a slew of more melodic releases. Title track 'Take Me Out' has a real get up and go attitude, it's definitely the most energetic, leader of the gang; ‘Dreamer’, true to its name, retains a calm, collected personality, whilst 'BLR’ (in collaboration with CBЯТОi) is just plain cool. 'Come With Me' concludes with a surprise twist; leaping the genre-fence, it’s a  Daft Punk-esque inspired, filtered house excursion that makes for a super funky finale.

London based dj producer powerhouse dup Dorsia land at Sprechen towers and they’re packing 2 flipping heavy heaters on the FM Dreams EP that will blow your cobwebs sky high!

Title track FM Dreams goes right for the jackin jugular with its skippy hats, machine gun snare rolls, bouncing bass & synth stabs and some mega stuttered sampled vocal stabs…think Steven Hawking after a fistful of veras and your almost there.

Mephi comes with 2 versions with both ensuring scenes across your dance floor…the club mix is a straight up heads down, techno licked workout that drives & thrives in equal measure whereas the disco mix ladles on the atmospherics & goes for the long play by leading into an almighty laser reaching break with a bassline that hits you were it matters. Cosmic-Trance-House? Resident Advisor will be saying they coined it first in no time, mark our words!

Remixes sit pretty much neck & neck with the originals…Norway’s Karl Fraunhofer’s trip goes straight to the laser grid & joins Tron for a synth rave. Thumping, stomping & like something from a lost video shop in time. Whilst Berlin based Curses turns Mephi into a subterranean industrial chug-a-thon that will delights fans of Sir Smagghe and Captains Weratherall & Johnston…this is dark territory!
