After several years, revered dub techno craftsman Andrey Pushkarev finally return with a solo release — Simbioza. Taking its name from the Romanian word for symbiosis, this release is a testament to creative exchange, built entirely from collaborations with dear friends & artists that have crossed Pushkarev’s path numerous times during his 20 years long musical journey. While staying true to Andrey’s signature deep & dubby aesthetic, the release also includes the artist’s first drum and bass output, featuring Los Angeles based Svetti’s haunting & mesmerizing vocals. The EP will be released on the label during the month of September 2025 — limited vinyl copies.

"We don't get the benefits of a regular rub down as we used to, but when it happens, it remains a bit of a treat. The chaos of the early discogs forums introduced us over 20 years ago but also because we shared a love of proper deep music and the high life. We've done some Estimulo Shows, SUNK parties (with Chris) and many lost all nighters together before trajectories diverged. This one was a recent Saturday night, just winging it whilst quaffing notable Italian Reds. Its mildly amusing to me (Andy) that this recording leans into Dub Techno, a genre for which Truly has peculiar aversion to… and yet we are left feeling for dubby chords, swirling delays, some elegiac melodies and our passion for the proper tunage......one more rider?"

Malkov and Andrey P. don’t say much. They don’t have a specific press angle, no myth to sell. The power duo just make music. Incisive, precise, deliberate, and send it out like messages in bottles. Their latest for Aureon Records, Microspheric, is one of those messages. Not a statement, not a crescendo. More like a vibration picked up through thick air. A low frequency that doesn’t ask for attention but earns it. We’re pretty sure that the track began, as many do between them, with an exchange. No words, just audio. We imagine the two working late at night in the studio, surrounded by wires, blinking LEDs, and silence. The pair are longtime collaborators, both have already dropped music on Aureon’s catalogue (their Morning Dub EP in 2022 and a solo EP by Malkov called Deep Space in 2024) and both trust their respective second sets of ears. They passed the file back and forth over weeks, each taking it further without ever forcing it. Then came Korableva, a violinist with a feel for texture over melody. She didn’t ask for much direction. Just listened and played. Her part wasn’t layered on top, it was woven in. The result is Microspheric: a track that doesn’t rush or announce itself. Deep, progressive, subtly orchestral. A sort of sonic echolocation from two artists who seem to make music more to understand the world than to impress it. On the flip side, Aureon brought in someone from a different orbit: Italian DJ and sound designer Dott. Santafeo (Leonardo Patrizi), who took the original tune’s DNA and dragged it into stranger, slower terrain. His remix is sparse, eerie, and heavy with space, a kind of wandering-in-the-dark version of the title track, built for deeper listening or getting completely lost.The deep piano version of our galaxy cowboy Junolab completes the Microspheric expressive line.This is Aureon 016: a record that doesn’t beg to be heard, but sticks around once it is. No peaks, no hooks, just a quiet current pulling you gently under.

Adopted by the city of Prague, Anastasia preaches about the humble analog format of vinyl records with her record selections rooted in dub techno as well as minimal house. One of the many reasons we invited Dona Volkova to take over our Strangers In The Night series with a vinyl only 60 minutes mix, recorded in the confort of her own place on a pair of turntables.
