Hi guys! etroup here! As you can see, Rag has been returned to the roster in order to replace the previous 2nd contestant, who, after certain allegations came to light (that were actually made quite some time ago, I simply wasn't aware of them until they were brought up to me) was cut completely. 

Yes, this means in a sense, this tournament has seven characters. I don't mind this! The "old Rag" will remain character four for posterity, and just become an archived character who doesn't receive official content. I really enjoyed working with Rag's past sources, and I think they're different enough here as to where it won't feel like they're getting a "second chance", at least not directly. I'm also able to rep a lot of niches I really enjoy working with in this retooling. The sound this character has compared to the previous Rag is quite different in my opinion, so please judge them on their own merits! 

If this choice rubs you the wrong way, well... you're in luck, because it's a tournament, and you can vote! Dinkle Tourney was always something for me to have fun with first and foremost, and I really wanted to work with an eliminated character again, so I added them back. Sorry to the Kokichi fans amongst us, by the way! I hope you don't see this as a snub against your fave - I just like working with Rag a lot.

We have a very special event coming up in a bit, and then Losers' Round 2 will begin in earnest. I think I always say this, but LR2 truly has some of my best work in store, and I'm so excited to share it! That's all! See you later : )

Once again... I truly thought these two were gonna be stronger. ABOMINATION FROM REALM OF DARK

This is one of two unreleased FULL tracks I made for INTO THE BACKROOMS, a primarily YouTube-based tournament run by @adrien-but-on-stereo-2, who did all of the art (including the thumbnail!). I had been following this tournament since its inception back in... I want to say 2022?... because the premise was interesting enough to warrant speculation. I mean, a backroom trapped in their own contestants? What could be more fascinating than that?

In the end, it just turned out to be a regular tournament, but I think it could've been a hell of a lot more with a few more available resources and/or time in the oven. It has been an honour seeing Adrien improve steadily with music as time went on, and I hope wherever he ends up next is somewhere he'll be able to share his gifts in a more impactful way.
