This is a recording of the set I would have played at Esoteric Festival 2025 - Psychedelic Circus. I was scheduled to play on the Ascension stage at 3:30 pm friday afternoon. Heartbreakingly, the festival was cancelled by outside authorities, at the 11th hour, before it even had the chance to begin. I put a lot of time, effort and love into curating this set and i don't want it to go to waste.

With mixed emotions I share this set, lovingly curated for the Chill Island stage at Esoteric 2025. The opportunity to play here was literally a dream come true for me... I felt beyond blessed and honoured to be invited to play on my favourite stage, at my favourite festival in Australia... And yet... it wasn't to be, as the festival was cancelled on the day it was due to start... creating chaos and disappointment for thousands of people.

I was already onsite, having driven my fairy house truck over 1800 kms to be there with my market stall (pictured), fully set up and ready to trade, after months of preparation. I blasted these tunes through my JBL as I packed it all down, and still managed to marvel at the beauty of an iconic Eso sunset.

My heart goes out to our creative community, and I trust in the power of our love to unify and strengthen us in the face of adversity. Om Shanti <3 & enjoy the choonz!

"Dream Unmaterialized" THE SET THAT NEVER WAS - Cancelled Esoteric 2025 Chill Island Set

This is one of two unreleased FULL tracks I made for INTO THE BACKROOMS, a primarily YouTube-based tournament run by @adrien-but-on-stereo-2, who did all of the art (including the thumbnail!). I had been following this tournament since its inception back in... I want to say 2022?... because the premise was interesting enough to warrant speculation. I mean, a backroom trapped in their own contestants? What could be more fascinating than that?

In the end, it just turned out to be a regular tournament, but I think it could've been a hell of a lot more with a few more available resources and/or time in the oven. It has been an honour seeing Adrien improve steadily with music as time went on, and I hope wherever he ends up next is somewhere he'll be able to share his gifts in a more impactful way.

This track wouldn't have been possible without the help of @inkybomb65, so give them my love. I'll be posting the other track in about a week or so. In the meantime, enjoy the show, and vote responsibly... you'll never know whose life could be on the line.
