Consisting of seventeen genre-twisting tracks built from the duo’s trance-inducing musical blueprints, this imaginative remix album dives further into Liquid Bloom and PERE’s shared identity while exploring the cutting-edge world of psychedelic sound design.

Where 2021’s ‘Afar‘ hits its main stride in the realms of organic house, the 2022 remixes delve into a surrealistic mixture of progressive and broken beats within an omni-tempo framework, placing deep basslines and energetic grooves in brilliant opposition to the source material’s acoustic and vocal melodies. 

With reimagined tracks delving into lighter, darker, and more nebulous atmospheres, each author’s signature is made evident in the collection’s energetically diverse and emotionally magnetic structure, creating an experience for listeners that bares all of the hallmarks of a journey through the musical looking glass. 

As excursions into musical realms beyond boundaries become increasingly demanding, it is collections such as this one that reveal the persisting power of collaboration and the resilience of the creative spirit. “Mother” by @niladevimama is dedicated to the Divine Mother in all things. Together with the sound of @marc-jb and William Llerena Murayari and their powerful presence throughout the album, from the first to the last song “Mother” speaks of the devotional nature of this album and of Nila’s artistry, which is inspired by her innate connection to her Gujarati Indian lineage as well as her connection to the Plant Kingdom. 

The sentiment across the songs is essentially about “becoming one with the Divine and experiencing the Divine in all things”, be it living or in the ether.

It opens with a powerful mantra which calls on the Divine Feminine energy of MahaLakshmi. Following this line, "Celestial Pearl" explores the romantic dance with the Divine and the telepathic connection between two souls vibrating in the same frequency and fragrance. It also references being reborn, to the Mother - or in Nila’s case, as the Mother - as a direct reflection or response to fully realizing Great Mother’s presence within. 

“Hablando a mi Corazon” (Talking to my heart) sings to the elements and the power of Pachamama (Mother Nature). The sensory experience of feeling the wind caressing the skin; the smell of the Bobinsana flowers; seeing spirits emerge from the majestic waters; are all symbolic of feeling the holy presence of the Divine, then merging into one with it all. 

As a teacher and spiritual guide on the plant medicine path, the plants play a constant and consistent role in Nila’s life and this is echoed in her music. Some of the songs were originally birthed in the jungle through communing with plant intelligence whilst in ceremony.

 You are invited to listen to this album from start to finish, as a healing journey, which concludes with a blissful meditation “Cielo Azul” (Blue Sky).

The intention of this offering is to bring peace and relaxation to the heart, and to call us into awareness of the importance of Divine Love, especially in these times. Divine Love is the Mother. The Mother is all loving, all forgiving, all encompassing. Let us live in reverence of the Feminine Force and the world will truly be restored to harmony and balance.

An incredible high vibing night at Ecstatic Dance Cairns, 2.0 launch in our new ‘home’ space on Greenslopes Street. This is the recording from the DJ software; I had intended to record my vocal mic too however I made a slight error with the Quicktime record and it didn’t record properly (doh not selecting the right input!), so the introduction guidelines, my varied use of instruments like tingsha bells, seed shell shaker/rattle, chakapa, koshi chimes, and ad lib singing to close on the last sound scape (I also made in Ableton btw, inspired after putting the set together and for something I could sing over!) didn’t record. That would have been nice ~ oh well and next time!

  I love how this community alivens, awakens and inspires each other. How good global music in an intentionally clean space, is really the future! Giving thanks to the power of music in my own life, and dance, and the gift it is to awaken that and share this with others. Thank you! & Enjoy!

For Amani Friend and his Liquid Bloom project, the Re:Generations mixes are a gift that keeps on giving. First remixed by AtYyA, who took on the entire album by himself, now an all-star cast of subsonic wizards from around the globe are putting their own spin on these intoxicating tunes. 

Stars of the psychedelic world like Hedflux and Land Switcher pump thrilling bass into “Roots of the Earth”and “Fire Gathering,” respectively. Kaminanda takes “Sacred Blessing” on a more than 11-minute epic journey. Numatik ignites new life into Fire Gathering .Suduaya, Momentology, Salis, and Nanosphere run the gamut from rich, organic strings and ethereal voices to dark, brooding, and bellowing sub bass covering the spectrum from delicate, ambience to pounding grooves. TRIBONEonce again remixes Deya Dova for a Desert Trax release, and Erothyme closes out the collection with a sprawling anthem of lush sounds.

Dew Drop - Global Folkloric Electronic ~ 02.11.21

EMILY EMBER is a dancer,  DJ, vocalist and budding music producer/ritual artist known as ‘Spring Jaiah’

Growing up in the bushland of tropical far north-eastern Australia, she spent her twenties travelling the world in pursuit of body-mind healing which revealed the power of practice on intentional dance floors and music can have on community. Since her first event in the area as far back as 2015, in 2021 she founded Ecstatic Dance Cairns, bringing diverse flavours and global rhythms to men and women, through full bodied emotional and danceable journeys moving the FNQ region ever since. She is also a somatic-psychology/BA Psych student, shamanic practitioner and servant of creating and facilitating safe spaces for self and community transformation.

Some of her music flavours explored in 2025 include afro beats, world, global bass, drum and bass/jungle, melodic & ethnic house plus many more… in effort of fusing sounds from all across the world, from the Africas to the Andes, Bristol to Berlin and beyond in cathartic ritual ecstasy.

Everything Emily does is to serve re-connection of earth-wisdom and sacred remembrance.
