I felt a calling this week to make a prayerful inspired mix for Ecstatic Dance as to imbue the much needed feminine energy onto the planet as more then ever. May the strongest weapon on the planet - sound - and love - reach and touch all people. May we remember the importance of life, this dance, again! This is a smooth, mid-tempo ride...

We danced in an outdoor nature inspired setting, surrounded by the rainforest where it meets the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, tropical Australia. Both simplicities and profundities in these times, to do so.

This is the set I played for Ecstatic Dance Cairns first flight out of Cairns, to the Daintree jungle, where the Great Barrier Reef meets the ancient rainforest. Older then the Amazon Rainforest, the Daintree is world-heritage site to the most pristine origins of some of nature's most wild and untouched earth elements. 

As community we gathered, to pray, to dance, to laugh, to release and to celebrate what is is to be humans deeply connected, in these times. With ourselves, our bodies, and all of life and the Earth herself. 

This was the first time an all drug & alcohol free dance event was hosted on this side of the river, and an absolute success for all it's humble heart-centeredness and community it brought together. The first of more to come! And a pleasure to share such intentioned sounds from across the world, with FNQ familia inspired by the rich natural setting. This was an all adult, all adult age demographic, danced barefoot on the earth, ecstatic dance journey!

May this prayer, from the jungle in our backyard, move yours, to a family united, healthfully, happily and whole-heartedly, as I believe we are all destined to be: FREE.

Ecstatic Dance Journey 'In The Daintree' August 2021

My set played at Ecstatic Dance Cairns Sunday morning outdoors in the luscious outdoor location of Skypark by AJ Hackett, Smithfield - tropical far northern Queensland, Cairns (Australia). Also for my 34rd birthday dance! We had so much fun in the medicines I love most: movement, music and community!

This set is devoted to the beat of the drum! The heart beat of humanity and the waking up of infinite body mind and spirit, on a unified dance floor - in Love. Lets dream AWAKE.

Ecstatic Dance Cairns Outdoors 'Tribal Dance Drum' Journey Oct 2021

Ecstatic Dance Cairns celebrated it's first cacao ceremony on Saturday 30th October at the luxury outdoor setting of Whitfield House, Edge Hill. A premier wedding venue in the far northern region, this was the first time such an event occured on the site! And also infact Cairns, being first opportunity for both men & women together with experienced ceremonial / plant ceremonialist of cacao Leilana Grace. 

The first 25 minutes of this recording was the warm up music which was facilitated by somatic movement facilitator Shantelle Marie, some group activities and embodied presence. It was so lovely to collaborate with these two women and share global music from across the world - never before heard or experienced here in rural, Cairns, northern Australia...

Elements Festival Dec 21 ~ Feminine Medicine Downtempo AM Set

Sharing the mix from our 'back to the dance floor, all together' Ecstatic Dance Cairns dance Saturday 8th January, recorded on a tropical hot balmy night with an impending storm brewing in the field. 

It was nice to share lots of bass-frequencies, and an ecstatic journey riding a mid range between 90-110BPM mostly. As we enter a new year together and some challenging times here, for the first time in many ways in Cairns, I felt a deeper anchoring to the space, togetherness and to the earth/our bodies. First half hour is arrival, introduction and warm ups, it really starts onward of about 30 minutes in....

Sharing this mix with others as for the journey, and healing, sound, dance and all the good vibes are! 

Some wonderful music here from incredible creators; thank you for touching my heart, and continuing to allow me to touch others with your music - not often (if at all, never) heard in this 'neck' of the woods.... tropical FNQ, Australia!

Ecstatic Dance Cairns November 2022

An ecstatic night at Ecstatic Dance Cairns, celebrating two years! We danced as 70 to our freestyle movement journey - all bodies, all people, all aged adults at Tanks Arts Centre. It was off the hook and such a joy to share music and move as community.   

The first 40 minutes is arrival including introduction and facilitation which also included the serving of cacao for our special dance (thank you to Leilana Grace of Moments in Touch for joining us!)  . The microphone wasn't recorded.

Ode to the Beloved: Shakti Fire Mini-Mix

Hello friends! Excited to share with you this offering, that I shared with 30 wonderful women on the rural bush-lands of regional far north-eastern Australia last weekend. Together we danced barefoot on the soil, next to the river, around the fire, with the open sky abound…. In prayer and ritual, in ceremony & celebration of the dawning New Earth: The Feminine Rising.

  Aurora Celeste @tribalvisionamazon & I were inspired by the culminate calling of the last few months collective-energy… and together we came to offer ritual to the ancestors, drank cacao (of course) and to emerge as the butterfly’s we are and spread our wings, dancing not just for ourselves and the Earth but all of humanity.  Our event intentioned ‘Earth Rebirth: An Women’s Outdoor Gathering’

  The feminine-medicine mix is dedicated to those sisters who can’t dance, those who cannot sit still enough to listen or who may be forced upon without freedom to simply enjoy Sound. Our prayer is to unite, to share the wisdom of the Earth through these sounds, so that the United Feminine of Voice Of the Body/The Heart through All: Shall Rise Again. 

  This is my greatest intentional music mix to date, and although still the forever learner to the technology to do so… my greatest inspiration and Love is that of Listening: these are some of the sounds that has lifted my heart in these times and given a voice to the great story I believe emerging true: She = We.  

A mix dedicated to Mother Earth, and all it’s creatures, worlds, and lives - of those, past, present & future.

A deep ceremonial mix intended for intimate, personal listening and self-journeying. Recorded originally on the eve of 20th December 2020 with also the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn occurring.

Transition: An Evolutionary Ceremonial Music Journey

Ecstatic Dance Cairns went off with a BANG! Together we came together as community in intention of celebrating the opening of Cairns newest adult conscious dance space & the far-northern tropical Oz home of the global #ecstaticdance movement, Ecstatic Dance Cairns.

Exploring the intention of the synchronized Valentine's weekend this offering was inspired by the One Heart, One Love - instead! Sharing this recording as to anyone worldwide to tune into that space, themselves! May you enjoy these divine tunes so deeply as we enjoyed dancing to them, and I enjoyed selecting & spinning them!

I forgot to press record on the intro tracks so it starts at already a bit of a lift off, the intro tracks being a gorgeous piano track by Maneesh De Moore & some others. I also had Ableton loops/pads in the end with aria chimes but haven't figured out how to record that at the same time - so anyway, this is just the Traktor recorded mix! I also freestyled the last 20 minutes as I realised I was short during the set & love how much playing All Related twice in two different remix versions reiterated so much that was so necessary & I'm still getting used to listening on headphones while also hearing the music outside the headphones with so much sub speaker deflection distracting me as to mix as well as I would want - it's challenging to hear properly! Saying those things, dancer's didn't notice! :) And an epic set to share in love!!!

Ecstatic Dance Cairns Opening Night February 2021

This is the spacious, mid tempo mix, an easy ride with global sounds I'm sure to suit most if not all ears - you’ll find something, that I shared at Ecstatic Dance Cairns first beach session at Kewarra Beach (resort) in the tropics of far north-eastern Australia where the Great Barrier Reef meets the ancient Daintree Rainforest. 

The space was an open-air, outdoor venue, with opportunity to spread out and soak in the elements, as much as the elements were working through the music, of course. Although I planned the set some of these tracks were changed to these in the moment as feels & flow.  I hope you like the beach, elemental, bliss tribe vibes! Which was incredible to be doused in the sounds, after beautifully guided once again meditation and presence practices by facilitator Elysha.

May these waves ripple out and touch your heart where you are - may we dance, as a global family, of love. Come join us sometime!
