Though I'll do this over with better equipment and timing at some point, this was a raw musical reaction to seeing Central Texas stricken with terrible months of drought until this day, when a huge rainstorm moved in on gale-force winds and rain began to pour in buckets.  I threw open the windows and played how the gale blasting through my home felt, laid these tracks down to the feeling of a roaring gratitude from the soil.  Texas weather is anything but casual.  No amount of polish will ever replace that feeling.
