Rik is a DJ / Producer / Promoter based in the UK and has been DJing for 35 years plus. He has a huge love of all genres of dance music.Tracks and occasional mixes are posted here on Soundcloud, however, all mixes are uploaded  to Mixcloud. His musical tastes are  both wide and varied, although he is definitely more of a '4/4 House' (All styles ) and 'Techno' man rather than an 'R & B' fan. 
He shares his passion for dance music and music generally with his love of the underwater World.

He has gone through , witnessed and embraced the 'Rave' and 'Trance' era's whilst maintaining his strong appreciation for all things 'House'. He commenced his DJing career with vinyl and the legendary 1210's , whilst embracing the 'CDJs' at an early stage. Now using the latest software such as 'Traktor' and 'Rekordbox', Rik has stayed current.

All mixes that Rik produces, are now posted to Mixcloud due to continual 'copyright' issues associated with posting them on Soundcloud !!

Rik has been fortunate enough to have played alongside and on the same bill as DJ's such as 'Seb Fontaine', 'John OO Fleming', 'Slipmatt', 'Alex P' and 'Steve Smart' to name a few. He has held residences at various venues throughout the Southern part of the UK, whilst also being a guest DJ at venues as far afield as the USA. He has actively promoted dance events such as 'Tsunami' in the early 2000's, and more recently, 'Luvhouse'.

Over the past few years, he has 'dabbled' with production, but during his visit to the huge 'Winter music conference' in Miami in 2010, his interest in producing went skyward after meeting various DJ's and producers. Rik's first ventures into production started  at the end of November 2011, via 'Luvhouse' music. During 2012 through to 2014, Rik deciding to concentrate on 'getting his head' round the software and technology to hopefully improve on the standard of any future releases. During the last 6 months, Rik has produced a number of tracks in various genres which he is now preparing to air to the wider World.

Rik continues to look out for new and exciting opportunities and is looking forward to a great 2015 and beyond.
