My latest songs about stuff, things, and all the  usual codswallop. The first five were written in September. The second five are from October (2024). Fancy.

The wind that blew away the dust and rot.
The same wind blew away the elder gods.
If I'm on a golden star, spinning a circle in time.
How can I be staring out into space in a line?

Hold back, black jack, twenty-three.
My apple didn't fall far from that tree.

Trying to find a way to get by.

The sun that weaves its path across the sky.
Will carry on the same after you die.
If I am a small part of all that has happened before.
How is it fair that I can never know what's in store?

Sneaky Russian, how do you do?
Bet we're thinking just the same as you.
Should we give ourselves a talking to?
What a world.

Bet you'd like to see us on our knees.
Are you too wrapped up with greed?
To make it work.

Standing out in the crowd.
Why you all gotta talk so loud?
And what's made you so proud?

I guess our time is running out.

Sneaky Russian hasn't the means.

Contemplating some expensive jeans?
But they are cursed.
You Americans a-wouldn't know.
Why they made the flowers grow.
Not everything's for show.
Some things are work.

Them chinaman digging the ground.
While we're all just fooling around.
Work sixteen hour days.
So the outcome might be swayed.
I guess our time is running out.

The clock keeps ticking on.

Sneaky Russians

Oh, the thought came to me.
Though it may have been a dream.

For our days with no consequences.
Are we drifting slowing away?

Now, the thought disagreed.
Was it part of some strange dream?
Where I'm floating alone in the void.

That we're happy with our choices.
But that doesn't make it so.

Now we wait for our getaway.
Hoping to make ourselves whole.
We were thinking eccentric.
But our dreams were always our own.
Now we've nothing but empty.
Pockets of misery sown.
It's been shown.
All alone.

Retail park shark.
Swimming in a foot spa.

Done With This Fight

My new piece based on a theme that surfaced when I was writting my resigned and dark Intermezzo, which in contrast, turned out to be one of the brighest and joyfull of my creations, very lively and bursting with vitality, almost reminding me of a spring flower that ascended from a damp graveyard.
This piece was probably the one I've written in the shortest amount of time,  majority of it written in a mere several hours.
