This track is an epic journey. I have listened a few times and really enjoyed how a beautiful song disintegrates into chaos and intense disharmony. Must have been fun to create the fall in music

65 - Flutes & Strings of Earth - An experiment

Sometimes the difficult thing to do is to reconcile with someone after a disagreement. Relationships recover and flourish when honest conversation is had. 

As you may notice, the cover art harkens back to a familiar cover from 1973 and that is intentional, because Andrea and Rebecca are strongly influenced by music from that time period. Many fans of 8000 Miles’ first album, Aggregate, have remarked on that influence. The title Crystal Confetti represents the clarity 8000 Miles is honing in their duo’s style and the contrast of weighted moods and flying inspirations.

Here ends my adventure with the Tonnetz! This is the piece that closes the series of four works that I have composed based on it.

I have also created an album where I have gathered the 5 pieces that I have composed following the pattern of the Tonnetz. Each of the first four pieces (all of them for piano) follow the scheme of a different Tonnetz, what differentiates each one of them is the certain number of notes that their chords have. The pieces are presented ordered according to this number of notes that their chords have: 2, 3, 4, 6 notes respectively. In the fifth piece (which is orchestral) the four Tonnetz intervene successively in their different parts.
