Over the past five years, Fever AM has given us a steady drip of exquisitely modern, genre-defying club music, from angular rhythm sculptures like Gacha Bakradze's "Daraji" to twisted party-rockers like Rhyw's "Biggest Bully."

To celebrate their fifth anniversary, label founders Mor Elian and Rhyw have put together a compilation that captures their strikingly fresh vision. "It's Not a Bug, It's a Feature" presents core Fever AM artists like Xen Chron and Ayesha alongside a few newcomers to the label, such as Pariah, MSJY, Peder Mannerfelt. Fans of the label know what to expect: soundsystem-tailored bangers with a surreal twist, for DJs that like to keep the crowd on their toes.

"Dublin DJ/producer Sputnik One shares the second offering from his recently launched label N-Face - the follow up to 2022’s debut release Supa Natural/Grafters ft. Belfast-based rapper EMBY which was supported by Ben UFO, CCL, DJ Voices and more. 

The club-destroying compilation spans 10 tracks, featuring bubbling bass and glitchy breaks through cheeky wafters to fresh and exciting techno and dancefloor mutations from a total of 11 artists and groups from three continents. Rising talents Dual Monitor, Glimmerman, LWS & No Sir join label head Sputnik One & K-Wata, as well as fresh faces St. Amp, Outl1er, DJ Gerard, Puncta and Young Muscle. N-Face 002 V/A showcases the Dublin artist’s strong vision and A&R hand and celebrates some of the most talented underground heads about. Staying in line with the spirit of collaboration set out in N-Face 001, Sputnik One teams up with K-Wata for their contribution to the compilation, with ‘Back Innit’ a chugging drama infused percussive roller. Artificio’s cofounders, Pasq (fka Arcane Prospect) and Rainmaker, take their sound in bold new directions with a four-track EP that mixes raw energy with sharp, forward-thinking production. Kicking off with «Midas Touch», Rainmaker blends his techno and ambient roots with fresh ideas, setting the tone for what’s to come—deep basslines and rich atmospheres that hint at his past while pushing into new territory.

Pasq follows with «Sin Perse» and «Randy», where intricate sound design, distorted rhythms, and heavy bass are combined with a touch of dark humor. The EP closes with «Amour Fou», a “hyperbass” track, filled with both longing and optimism, echoing a desire for transformation.

A Fuego Y A Fondo is Artificio's statement of intent—a fierce commitment to pushing sound to its edges, challenging norms, and keeping dance music untamed.
