Celtic FC was established by Brother Walfrid, an Irish Marist Brother, with the intention of raising funds to help the poor of Glasgow's East End. The football club has grown into an internationally renowned institution but at its roots it still provides aid to the poor and needy working through the Celtic FC Foundation to deliver much needed assistance.
