 Lyrics by Annette Droste Hülshoff ("Am Turme" 1842, translated into English by Ruth Klüger)
vocal samples taken from "Wenn ich träume...' Droste-Musik aus dem Fürstenhäusle in Meersburg" and "Auf den Spuren der Droste", both contemporary recordings of Droste's music and poems.

The Vienna based duo theclosing are the third contributors for our new mixtape series Anette Halbe Stunde. They take us on a ride through their inspirational artists that impressed and left a mark on both of them over the last couple of years. All tracks have a very serene vibe, so the mix is meant to be a soundtrack mastering all the stress in life, while ranging from ambient to intensive drum programming, simply just to trigger the inner calmness.

Squalloscope is Anna Kohlweis, who exists as an interdisciplinary artist based primarily in Vienna. Anna Kohlweis has been releasing records since 2006 - first as Paper Bird, and since 2012 as Squalloscope. She is also one half of the band Twin Tooth and one half of songwriting duo Squalloscope & Andy the Doorbum.
