Square Dance Caller is the Melbourne groove rock brainchild of brothers and multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, Brendan and Michael Etherington.

A nod to their late grandfather's tenure as a real-life Square Dance Caller, the band draws inspiration from outfits Arctic Monkeys, The Clash and Gorillaz.

SDC's debut 2021 album 'Celebrity' received resounding success across indie music blogs, college radio and playlists throughout Europe and America. While the single 'Somebody Like You', from the band's second release "Daze in Technicolor", garnered praise from Milky Music, The Music and The Partae, to name a few.

The band's highly anticipated new single 'London Underground' was released in 2023 and lead to a successful UK tour wowing crowds and establishing a name for themselves through captivating and engaging live shows.

2024 will see the brothers capitalising on their momentum with new music and more Australian and UK touring.
