Shaun Rawlins is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Burnaby, BC. He writes songs about life; from the little gaps and spaces that exist in all of our lives, to love and everything in-between. His main influences are: City and Colour, Dan Mangan, Death Cab for Cutie, and Ben Howard. Working with Juno Award winning producer John Webster, Shaun has self-released two EP's: "Lost in Your Head" and "Clean Slate" respectively.
 
Over the past several years, he has toured all throughout Western Canada; co-headlining shows with fellow singer-songwriter Tyler Bartfai. Travelling in Tyler’s motorhome, they have played every venue, cafe, brewery, and house show they could along the way. Shaun is currently working on new music, writing and working on songs with Annette Ducharme. They are set to release a new single co-written and duet entitled "No One Else's Game" on August 8, 2025.

Band bio

The Rebells were formed on 24th of Jult 2012 by Izzy and Felix. Our sound is a huge  mix of different styles from different eras reflected by our minds. Some of the biggest influences of the 
Rebells include the early Black Keys and the Jimi Hendrix Experienced. After noumerous bassists and guitarists we finally found the bassman worthy to be a Rebell, Gabriel Gemme.
Ever since the day one we been coming up with original songs. So far we've released one hundred copies of our first EP(recorded, mixed and produced by Izzy). 
They diseappeard as fast as they appeared. In little time that we had, we've already played big gigs like 
the one with Die Mannequin @ Underworld.


Izzy Vadim: Vocals/Lead Guitar
Born in Ukraine. Moved to Canada and started playing guitar at age of 10. Because of his family's financial situation Izzy never got a chance to take music classes. 
He had to learn to play all by himself. He met Felix at 13. After many failed band attempts, Izzy has turned to Felix to form a band. They have been playing together ever since. On summer of 2011, Izzy played 
two tunes at the main stage of the Jazz Festival at Montreal.Main Influences: Jimi Hendrix, Jon Lord, Jim Morrison, Pantera, Gentle Giant

Felix Grenier: Drums
Born and raised in Laval, he started playing the drums at the age of 7 with his tutour Spiros Damianos. He met Izzy in his school's music class. They started jamming 
together for fun. One thing let to another and a rock band was formed ready to rock venues to their bones. Main Influences: Mitch Mitchell, Keith Moon, John Bonham

Gabriel Gemme : 
Born and raised in Laval, he picked up bass a couple of month before joining The Rebells. He adapted to The Rebells` rythm with a questioning speed. It only took a 13 minute jam to get him in the band.
